Alan's enthusiasm for helping you reach your fitness goal is matched by his experience and knowledge whether you're just someone who's out of shape or someone like myself who has physical limitations. Coach Quin gave a huge amount of time and energy to Colaiste Iognaid under 14 Rugby. His rugby knowledge and no-nonsense positivity had a really strong impact on this group of young players and his work on core fitness helped them to reach their potential on the pitch. I started my twelve week plan with Alan on the 22nd of May so am five weeks in now and feel fitter and stronger and can see progress in the gym and with my cardio fitness. The app is very easy to use and easy to synch up with other apps like my fitness pal for tracking calories etc. Alan is very supportive and helpful and has tailored my plan to suit my lifestyle and goals. He's always available to answer any questions and the app works really well in holding me accountable for my own health and fitness which for me is crucial in keeping me on track. Alan has been involved last year 2022 and this year with the Irish Tag Rugby teams training and preparing for the Tag World Cup in Limerick, August 2023. Alan travelled over to Leeds in the UK with the Irish Men's 40s squad and helped them prepare for 5 Test matches with a pre-match warm-up routine and stretches, plus nutritional advice. Alan Quin Fitness & Lifestyle is an amazing experience for me. I joined Alan Quin Fitness in December 2022 and was very stiff and unfit. Today 6 months later I am very flexible and getting fit. I've had a Fitness test 2 weeks ago with very positive results. I'm 52 years old and don't feel 40 . The app is great I do my daily program and tick when complete. I found Alan to be a very good trainer. Very encouraging, well informed and knows how to get the best out of his clients. He's also adept at varying the training routine which helps keep it interesting and fun to partake in . I have only attended for the past 4 weeks at the Westside track but I have experienced walking, running, pilates, yoga, meditation and resistance exercises so far. I,ve been working with alan about six weeks now . he has shown me how to fit exercise in to my very busy evenings . i have two small kids and i was finding really hard to find the time to exercise he has shown me how to exercise in just 20 mins a day and ive lost a stone. i look foward to working out now and i feel way better. he has helped put me on the right path to loosing weight and feeling better. the texts i get from alan every day keep me on track and i do,nt think i would have got this far without him.its a great way to get fit if like me you dont have time for the gym or fitness classes. Alan is fantastic and very knowledgeable in all aspects of fitness and nutrition. I am coming back to training and sport following a significant injury and Alan has the ability to tailor and adapt his sessions to meet my specific needs as well as challenging me. Alan is a very knowledgeable and diligent trainer . What I like is that he knows my limits and helps me to power through them . Currently on day 3 of an intense 5 day workout plan which I can already see and feel is getting me back into shape at an alarming rate post-Christmas . He makes each session enjoyable but when you leave his presence you know you've done a great day's training . Alan is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging (& somehow fun). My fitness increased noticeably and I’ve seen improvements in my ability to complete more sit ups / core exercises, lift progressively heavier weights & generally push myself harder throughout each session. I find I actually look forward to my workouts.

I know that I would never have achieved the level of fitness and wellness if not for the personal attention given in my training sessions. Alan is always very encouraging and has a vast knowledge of his profession.

Importantly:

- He ensures that my technique is always correct to avoid any injuries.

- He is extremely reliable & punctual – always set up & ready to start training ahead of time, with an exercise routine planned.

Thanks to the time spent with Alan , I am now 10 months off cigarettes and training for a 650km cycle (Mizen Head to Malin Head) which I am doing over a 3 day period.

I have worked with Alan for a couple of years now, and could not recommend him highly enough. I would have been a regular gym and fitness goer prior to starting with Alan, but had hit a real "plateau" with my workouts. Alan, found out exactly what my goals were, took all my measurements and designed a custom program for me based on this. This new program helped me really get back on track and I have not looked back since. Now every time I need to change up my workouts, I simply contact Alan and he puts together something new, fun and enjoyable. I also love the interactive element of his workouts, in that I can access my workouts from the "Tainerise" app on my phone and access my custom workout from there. Lifestyle tweaks around sleep, nutrition, physical activity, downtime and a structured plan to make incremental changes and gains over a long period of time.

Consistency, keep it simple, find exercise that you enjoy doing. Don’t train for the mirror, get stronger, fitter, more educated and your image will take care of itself. A balanced approach to nutrition also not restrictive dieting.

Helping people become happier in themselves, show them that’s it’s not that difficult to achieve your goals if you put in the work on a daily basis.

I played sport all my life. My whole life revolves around trying to be the healthiest, fittest and happiest version of my self, it’s very rewarding being able to help others and I practice what I preach.
