Matt Walters the owner of Quince studios is a gifted & brilliant sound engineer and a master of what he does. Quince studios provide a fantastic service not just for musicians but also for people doing spoken word projects. Matt has the ability to get the very best vocal qualities from performers and is a master at improvising around tricky production, technical, and musical issues. I have used Quince studios numerous times both for tracking and mixing sessions and have always been really pleased with the results. Matt, who owns and runs it is technically excellent but is also a really lovely guy which goes a long way to getting a great performance and ultimately a great track out of the session. Matt is always willing to offer an opinion or idea but is also really good at turning sometimes rather abstract conversations about how things should sound into actual musical aspects of the track.Highly recommended. The one thing that Quince offers over all the other studios I have been to is superb hospitality and real professionalism. All of the equipment is top of the range and Matt has always done a great job with vocals, mixing and mastering. Never felt like I needed to go anywhere else really and have been using Quince Studios for a number of years now. You are guaranteed to end up with a quality sound, a fantastic recording and a producer/engineer who is patient enough to understand your overall ideas and expectations..Bottom line: I love Quince Studios and you will too! Quince Studios is really quite a place. It was such a pleasure working with immensely talented producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist Matt Walters. His extraordinary skills and versatility made it possible for me to record and write my entire debut album at Quince Studios. Matt really paid attention to detail, and helped steer my vision to create an intricate and strong work. He has great attitude and really pays attention to what you want and offers solid suggestions based on his years of experience. Working at Quince has been an amazing experience and under the guidance of Matt Walters I have been able to develop greatly as an artist. His talent certainly helped me gain spot on MTV and VH1 in the USA with my single Beethoven Burst which was also a top40 hit on the FMQB charts in the USA.
