Simply the best experience! My needy indoor cat Bowser loved staying here! great facilities and lots of love! so sad i have moved countries and cant take him there anymore! 5 stars! We left our cat Maisy here over the weekend whilst we visited family and were amazed by how content and happy she seemed when we picked her back up! Being a rescue cat she is very wary of people and doesn’t warm up to them very quickly, it was lovely to see the staff had spent the time getting to know her and she was quite reluctant to leave after having such a lovely mini holiday. We have a 8 month old cat who went to stay with the guys here. It was our first time leaving her for so long and she's such a shy and anxious cat so we were very worried! Queen Charlton cattery is a great place for my cats to have their 'holiday'! We are always made to feel so welcome and can enjoy our time away as we are confident that our cats are well looked after. The thing that makes Queen Charlton cattery stand out from ones we have used previously is the obvious interest the staff have in the cats welfare - they truly care and make it their responsibility to find out the traits of each cat they are responsible for. Excellent Cattery it’s the 3rd one we had tried in the nearby areas to Hengrove and the one he loved the best is definitely queen Charlton. We found Queen Charlton after trying to book our cat, Alfie in last minute - they were so accommodating, and incredibly friendly and welcoming. We have been using them for over a year now, and Alfie is always well looked after and comes back in excellent condition, happy and relaxed. No problems! They will always do as much as they can do for the cats - they address them all by their names and shower them with as much care a.nd attention as possible and appropriate (our cat is very affectionate so he LOVES the attention) Thank you for looking after Alfie so well Lucy and Dave and the Team! Me & Alfie used this place for the first time in October as my usual cattery was unavailable - although I love my previous cattery, I will be using Queen Charlton from hereon in. The "pens" are lovely and Alfie is always curled up in a ball in his bed whenever I collect him and this was the first time I've ever seen him up and about in a cattery, looking quite contented, so they must be doing something right! It made me feel a lot happier as he's an old boy now and I hate putting him in a cattery, so I was very pleasantly surprised to see him like this on my return :) I have already booked him in again..! I left my 11 month old fluffy boy Bemmi here for 2 weeks and being an indoor cat who has been with us since he was 8 weeks old I was a bit apprehensive about leaving him in a unfamiliar place with people he doesn't know.

Spoke with David and Lucy who were extremely accommodating in relation to the drop-off hours as it had to be really early in the morning before opening hours. Despite being so early in the morning Lucy received us with a big smile and showed me around the cattery and even got to cuddle a few cats (made me re-think my career options if I'm honest. Playing with cats all day sounds much better).

I received photos of Bemmi the same afternoon and consistently throughout the time he was there and I couldn't be happier seeing his photos. Bemmi looked like a King all spread out receiving cuddles or being brushed or playing with the staff.

When I went to pick him up he paid absolutely no attention to me, he was all happy for seeing Lucy and immediately laid down for some cuddles..!
I have to say, I was impressed! And obviously, well happy for seeing him doing so well and if he behaved like towards Lucy is clear that he was super well treated.
Wouldn't trust my furry boy with anyone else and can't recommend them or thank them enough.
5 stars is not enough to express my gratitude to them for how they took care of him. Thank you so much More...

Due to illness/ operation etc, my parents cat ‘fifi’ Spent two months here.. the outstanding accommodation and service provided was amazing. .. Not only did their cat obviously enjoy its ‘stay’, but the owners were so accommodating when unfortunate circumstances meant that fifi’s ‘Stay’ had to be greatly extended.. so grateful and many thanks for everything... I was a bit scared leaving my kitty at a cattery, but after reading the great reviews Queen Charlton got, I decided to take her there. David and Lucy went above and beyond to make my kitty, Missy, feel comfortable and confident. They were really dedicated to taking care of her and she looked so good when I picked her up. This was our first time taking Pixel here and am sure it won't be the last. David and Lucy offer a wonderful service for cats while you are away. What really impressed me was the variety of "rooms" for the cats, and that all of them have some kind of outdoor (enclosed of course) aspect which I think gives cars the extra stimulation they need when in a new environment. Our Pixel can be a handful but when we picked her up after nearly 3 weeks she seemed so happy and could tell there was a bond between her and the owners. Highly recommend using this cattery. More...

Superb Cattery.

Queen Charlton Cattery provide a first class service, this was our first trip since getting our cats and my girlfriend was very concerned about leaving them behind, David and Lucy were brilliant at putting her mind at ease, especially with the regular updates and pictures we received via email throughout the week.

We collected two very happy and well fed cats on our return, they were even groomed, David and Lucy spend a lot of time interacting with the cats in their care.

Excellent value for money, we went for one of the more 'expensive' chalets which had extra space for the cats to climb and play and the price was very reasonable. I cannot recommend this cattery highly enough. More...

Queen Charlton Cattery is fantastic. I went away last-minute in August, and had to check Faustus into a cattery for the first time. Firstly, QCC were so helpful - David picked Faustus up and dropped him off for me as I didn't have access to a car, which helped me out massively. More importantly, Faustus had a fantastic time! He'd never been in a cattery before so I was worried he wouldn't adapt well, especially as he can be quite nervous and clingy. But he came home more relaxed and cuddly than I've ever seen him, well-fed, glossy-coated, and purring like mad (even in his cat carrier!). I haven't seen the cattery in person, but David and Lucy clearly look after the cats well and put real effort into bonding with them. Would definitely recommend! More...

1st time Wilf has ever been in a cattery and over Christmas 15 days ( he is 4 yrs old) i must say the care and attention he received is 2nd to none.
The weather was cold he had a heated bed plus a huge fleece to keep him warm. He was given treats we had taken in for him plus his flea treatment.
Grooming was provided at no extra cost. Plenty of cuddles and attention.
Wilf came home fit and well without any weight loss. Really impressed with all the staff who looked after Wilf will use again and excuse the pun they are all cat mad and really love cats wouldn't hesitate in using them absolutely brilliant

I was having some work done on my house and I needed my fur baby out of the way and safe. typically the work overran and I had to keep ringing to extend his stay, they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, even though they were busy. Our two cats were extremely well looked after for 2 1/2 weeks, the longest we have ever left them. They had such a good time that they weren't really bothered about coming home with us. Both of them looked extremely glossy and well groomed and well fed. We enjoyed having the photos emailed through to see them happy and contented so that we could relax and enjoy our holiday. David and Lucy were very friendly and made you feel welcome and at ease about leaving your cat with them for a few days. Upon a visit beforehand we were shown to the majority of the cats staying there and they all appeared well looked after and content, just as my cat Cleo was when I picked her up. The areas the cats stayed in were spacious and had a heated area for them and some had their own houses! They both take pride in looking after the cats, especially Lucy who admits she is constantly there with them! Thanks again and we will be back again in the future :)

We left our two boys Albert & Vincent who are brothers & 11 months old at queen charlton cattery for 12 days while we went away to be looked after by Lucy & Dave.

Could not be more impressed by the amazing service we had with Dave giving us a thorough tour of the cattery beforehand letting us meet other cats & it was clear to see how happy they all were :)

Our boys seemed so happy having cuddles with Lucy & we really appreciated the photos emailed to us while we were away putting us at ease due to their first time being away from our house since 6 weeks old!

One of our cats was on antibiotics for a week the day we left to go away but it was no trouble for the cattery at all they kindly gave him his medicine all week!

We would definitely let them stay with you next time we go away - glad we have found a local cattery that takes so much pride in what they do.

Queen Charlton cattery is outstanding. I have never left my precious cat (George) in a cattery. My son was always on hand to look after him if we were away. He has now moved out so I needed to find somewhere for George to stay. We visited Queen Charlotte cattery and was instantly impressed. The erray of accommodation is wonderful, very clean and individual. The staff and owners, Lucy and Dave obviously love the cats. I was nervous at first when we left George but we’re reassured with updates and pictures. We have just picked George up and he is so relaxed and content. I can not recommend Queen Charlotte enough. My cat stayed at the Queen Charlton Cattery for the first time in May and it's like she had always been there. She was a very happy and contented kitty, she settled in so well.

They are by far the best cattery I have dealt with and was really pleased to have emails updating me about my cat while I was away.
