CdlM catered at an event this week for me and it was brilliant. Chef de la Maison provided outstanding quality and variety of food for our wedding in September. The food we chose was a BBQ -and it was amazing! ! I only wish I could have eaten more! The desserts were also outstanding. Alison and her staff went the extra mile in helping our day come off without a hitch and helped to tidy up too. Well what can we say!!! The service was excellent from making arrangements beforehand to venue set up the day before and the day itself, Alison and her team were absolutely fabulous with a friendly fun and professional attitude throughout! Our guests loved the canapés and hot buffet at our wedding on 18th August and the desserts were really popular too!! Alison and Anne-Marie thought of everything, even bringing a cake knife and slicing our cake for our evening guests! We were so pleased with everything, including the Team Chef picture in the photo booth! Chef de la Maison really went above and beyond expectations to make our day perfect. We recently used Chef de la Maison as the caterers for our wedding and they were absolutely excellent! We wanted a relaxed feel to our wedding and they were able to do exactly that, Alison was very helpful right from the very start - it has been a pleasure having her look after us. Her team were incredibly professional and dealt very well in the heat as it was a boiling hot day! We had a BBQ for our meal - the food was delicious and our guests all gave excellent feedback. We had Chef De La Maison Star Buffet 2 for our afternoon Wedding reception Buffet. Ourselves and our guests were amazed at the amount of food the variety and quality of the food. We had a few Vegetarians as guests and they comment on it being the best buffet they had ever seen for the selection of food that they could indulge in. We only had a small afternoon reception and obviously had the normal worries of the food letting it down but quite the opposite happened and would without hesitation use Chef De La Maison again and would highly recommend them to anyone. I honestly cannot recommend Chef de la Maison enough, they are simply amazing! They did the catering for our wedding last Saturday and they were absolutely excellent! The food was delicious and was so professionally presented. The tables looked absolutely amazing and they had so many staff constantly offering more food and drink to ensure that no-one went without! But, I hear you say, that's exactly what you'd expect from a wedding caterer! Well, let me tell you they are not just any wedding caterer! The company that was supplying our chair covers and table cloths turned up 2 hours late, and clearly Chef de la Maison couldn't set up the tables until they'd put the tablecloths on, yet everything was perfectly presented before we entered the marquee for the wedding breakfast. I had contacted Alison from Chef de la Maison the night before to ask if they would be able to help me build our wedding cake as it came in separate tiers which needed putting together. They didn't just help me, they did it all themselves and it looked absolutely stunning! They were quite happy to make more tea and coffee even after their urn had been put away, and they even used one of their kitchen knives to cut the end off the cigars I had bought for my groomsmen as I'd forgotten to get a cigar cutter! There was literally no request they weren't happy to fulfil and I cannot thank them enough for all the help they gave us to make our day so special. If you are looking for a caterer who is dedicated to making sure that your event, whatever it may be, runs as perfectly as possible then I cannot recommend Chef de la Maison enough! Our day wouldn't have been anywhere near such a success if it wasn't for their dedication and genuine care. They were simply amazing and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone! More...

I am a bit fussy about food as I am a good cook and suddenly finding myself too busy to make the food for a workshop I popped in and was incredibly vague about what I wanted for a workshop that I was running the following day. The food that came was delicious and home-made as good as I could have made myself and certainly better presented. Everyone commented on how good it was and I have to say it was excellent value with the portion sizes being big compared to other caterers at events I have attended.
