I bought the MK4 in 2001 to help my mom who had severe pain in her back due to osteoporosis and a pinched nerve. The specialist could not do anything for her as an operation on the back wasn't feasible due to the osteoporosis. So heavy pain medication was prescribed. I couldn't give her the medication as she had one kidney and the painkillers would have affected her kidney negatively. I bought the APS Therapy machine to alleviate her pain and inflammation, while giving her good, freshly extracted juices for nutrition.
