Cam was absolutely phenomenal - a miracle worker really. She took in our 2.5 year old Miniature Dachshund for a board and train. He had reactivity/aggression issues and he came back a completely different dog. She trained our dog unbelievably well, but more importantly, she also trained us on how to communicate with him and make sure the training was sustainable when he got back home. I have 2 XL Bullies that are stubborn and lazy. I actually thought one of them was deaf for a while because he just stares at me when I try to get him to do things. I sent one to Cam for train and board and we did private lessons with the other. The results were beyond anything I could have dreamed. I now have a dog that not only can hear me, but also chooses to do what I ask of him. The results of the board and train were unbelievable…my most stubborn dog is a well trained beast that I feel proud to take out and show off to the public with confidence. Cam is awe inspiring! We had our 1 year old boxer/lab mix Zelda do a board and train with her and she is a completely different dog now than she was when we dropped her off. Zelda had no confidence, hadn’t been socialized with people or other dogs, now she shows her confidence and can be out around other dogs and people without cowarding behind us or feeling on the defensive. Cam is not only brilliant with the dogs but with the owners as well, she was able to explain to us in ways and terms that we could understand on how to handle Zelda and what we should be looking for with her and what Zelda is trying to tell us. Cam kept us updated with videos and pictures several times during the week. We are so grateful for her and excited for her to work with our other dog. Our collie mix (Lucy) completed a puppy board and train with Cam and we couldn't be happier with the results. Cam was so knowledgeable and taught us so much about the best ways to work with Lucy. She was willing to answer any questions we had and made sure we felt comfortable and confident transitioning all of Lucy's new skills, commands, and corrections into our home. My German shepherd who is almost 3 yrs old did an intermediate board & train with Camryn! We are so grateful to have had Camryn as Leo’s trainer. She is super knowledgeable, funny, & very patient!! Camryn not only had so much patience with Leo but also patience with me in teaching me on how to be a better handler with Leo. I told Camryn all the issues I was having with Leo and she made sure to address every problem. She kept me up to date on how Leo was doing, sent me videos /pics. I am so thankful for the training sessions I had with her because I got to see how Leo was transforming & he was just overall becoming a much happier dog!! When it came time for Camryn to bring Leo home, it was like he was a different dog, soooo obedient and behaved!!!!! Our 2 1/2 year old GSD boarded with Cam for intermediate training. Beau has always been a good dog, so friendly, always listened to my husband, but when it came to me he totally ignored any kind of discipline I tried to give him.
He basically ran over me every change he got. Well, let me just say how wonderful Cam was in not only training Beau, but training me! I am able to walk Beau without him jumping on me, I made minor corrections if he needed them and he accepted them willingly. I never thought I'd be able to put him in a down-stay and walk away, come back and he'd still be right where I left him - but I can!
Cam was encouraging and enthusiastic. She kept us informed every step of the way (I really appreciated the photos and videos she sent) and answered every question we had without hesitation. Her training approach is so comprehensive and straight forward.
I wish I could rate her higher, but 5 stars is all that is allowed. I love Beau more than you can imagine, it was hard for me to interact with him because he was so rough... but now that I know how to "speak" his language I see a much brighter future for me and my boy!! THANK YOU CAM! You are the best!

Cam was terrific! My 8 month old German Shepherd, Neo, has improved immensely in behavior and obedience compared to before we went to Qk9C.
The training not only helped my dog but me as well. Cam helped develop my knowledge to become a more competent dog owner.
I will also say despite my dog havimg growing pain complications during the training (which resulted in a 1-2 week pause on said training), Cam and Qk9C were patient and flexible with getting Neo back into the rythm of things again.

I can't say enough great things about QK9C!! Alessia did the puppy board and train with Megan and my pup is a totally different dog! Megan cares a lot about the dogs and also the handlers and even explained the steps to effective leadership and being the pack leader! Alessia is a Cane Corso (Italian Mastiff) so it was imperative to get her on the right track with the basics. Huge shout out to Sally for the work she did with my boxer! He's a loving dog, but he's extremely impressed with himself. He's very well behaved when it's just me at home, but he sees anyone that comes to visit as an easy target . This makes it difficult to find a dog sitter that can handle him. I was very discouraged and reached out to Sally. During the first session, she quickly identified the primary trigger for my boy's behavior. He figured out pretty fast that Sally wasn't going to be one of his targets. Because of the work that she did with my boy, he's now able to get himself under control when he gets a little too excited when someone comes to visit. Today, Mr. Wright worked with my three dogs for an hour. As soon as he began working with them to get them to properly walk on a leash, I immediately saw the difference. I was able to walk my dogs without being pulled or dragged. He is an excellent trainer and helped me and my family understand what we needed to do. My seventeen month old Boxer, Scarlet was OUT OF CONTROL! I was to the point of seeking another home for her as I was not able to control her physically. I searched for dog trainers in the CSRA, and sent a call back request to K9 Concepts. Sally, one of the trainers called me back and assured me that most dogs, even WILD FEMALE BOXERS could be trained. She said the dogs just don't know what is expected of them. I said this was my last effort to save the relationship! After one visit, I could not believe how Scarlet was responding to my commands that Sally taught me. I paid for six weeks of training, and I can honestly say it was the best money I ever spent on a pet. Scarlet has improved so much, and now she is a joy to have. Even my eighty-eight year old dad joined one of the sessions with Sally and Scarlet! Scarlet still likes to play "ruff" at times, but she remembers what she is NOT supposed to do with an encouragement command. I really did not want to do the in home visits at first because I thought I would have to practice with Scarlet for an hour everyday. But, that was not the case. When there was an opportunity to put into practice the techniques that Sally taught, I did so right then. Thanks to Sally Crunkleton for bringing some peace and quiet to our home. Ruma was very nervous and I had a trainer tell me she was dangerous and should be put Down. Fortunately for us Sally walked in and after 6 weeks Ruma was no longer charging my visitors and nipping at them. We still have a ways to go but with Sally being so patient with Ruma and me I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Ruma still needs to do more socializing but that will come with time. At least I wasn’t told she was untrainable and to get rid of her. Older dogs can be trained, Ruma is 8 years old and learning new things every day. We have a large family and wanted our new puppy to be welcomed in the home and loved by guests. After a vet recommendation, we contacted Sally. She has been so helpful in guiding us in the process of training our dog. We quickly realized that she was training the family more than she was training our pup! :) All of our sessions incorporated our children and helped them be consistent and successful with training.
