Janet and Keith are the perfect wedding venue owners. From the moment we met them and saw the venue we knew we had found the perfect match for us and our day. The location is second to none with stunning views across the valley, and Janet and Keith are on hand from the start, sharing knowledge and wisdom which helped mould our day to be the perfect day it was. It's been just over 3 weeks now since mine and Laura's big day and I've really struggled to think of the right words to say about Keith and Janet. I still can't find words that do them enough justice other than fantastic! they were so so accommodating when we first met them in 2019 and helped us through with any problem our end or there's and I can't thank them enough. I honestly just don’t know where to begin… 3 years ago my New fiancé & I pitched up at Janet & Keith’s beautiful home looking for a perfect wedding venue. They had only just started to advertise their venue & we were their second booking (I think)! We instantly knew that Janet & Keith were going to be with us on our wedding journey-we didn’t need to see any other venue. Covid hit & we had to postpone so we waited 3 years in total! Janet & Keith couldn’t be anymore helpful, we had a bar issue & Keith & Neil bust a gut to get our guests cold beers! Ruth & Janet were rallying around helping with the food & with the weather reaching highs of around 32 degrees they were roasting! Keith & Janet started clearing away and when we came back this morning we literally had to put things into the car - they had done it all. These two amazing people are 2 in a millions & I really am pleased we walked into their kitchen 3 years ago. I will never forget how they went above and beyond to make our day special. We had the bestest day on July 16th. Janet and Keith were so helpful and kind throughout the whole wedding planning process. They even invited us for coffee to their home to go through plans and to reassure us. They loved being “part” of our wedding and took notes on everything and they really wanted to make our day run smoothly and to just be perfect! They were so welcoming and would always greet us with a smile. Janet and Keith loved hearing about our plans for the day, from decor, to little touches, food and entertainment. They worked their socks of by helping the caterers out on our day to deliver food which didn’t go unnoticed. They go from touching up my dress before going into church, to clearing up glasses, plates, rubbish, delivering food, and just chatting to everyone and making sure they’re all ok. They were also on taxi duty and would let people know when their transport home had arrived. What striked me the most was how they started the clearing process so quickly and made our lives so easy on the Sunday morning (thank god) to clear up from the night before. Not many venues help with this. The church and the views are outstanding as well. All of our guests said they had a great time in such a beautiful location but not only this, they all commented on how relaxed it was up there. I wouldn’t have changed a thing about our special day…. I don’t even know where to begin! The minute we arrived at this venue we knew it was the one for us! The spectacular views that meant so much to me and then we met Janet and Keith! Two of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They were so accommodating to us when we popped to visit the venue and helped us along with our wedding plans by taking the time to show us ideas from previous weddings they had done in the past. Janet and Keith were also so kind to us when we had our daughter Bella as I was 6 months pregnant when we booked the venue! I cannot recommend this venue enough. They are also on hand to give you recommendations of local suppliers which makes planning stress free! On the day of our wedding they were so helpful with welcome drinks and helping behind the scenes, even there when we were cleaning up the day after! Where do we begin! Janet and Keith have been nothing but perfect from start to finish. We had to rearrange twice due to Covid, and we finally got married on the 28/8/21. Both times we had to rearrange our previous dates, they completely put us at ease and helped us to move our date without any hesitation. They helped us with planning, ideas, even understanding the legal side of things. Every time we attended church on a Sunday, both Janet & Keith were always totally happy to give up their Sunday afternoon to show us around again and chat about the planning. The day couldn’t have run any smoother. Janet and Keith just sorted EVERYTHING. They slotted in like part of our family, whilst keeping professional and over seeing everything ALL day! They were still there at 11pm on the night of the wedding helping me put the hog roast stuff away! 😂 Janet was even seen helping me untangle my dress a few times! There wasn’t a single thing that was too big of an issue. We will be forever grateful for them helping to make our wedding day so extra special. What do you love most about your job?
I love working with all couples, finding out their dreams and helping create the couples dream weekend, making their day even more special than they imagined.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I live in a unique position on the Shropshire / Mid Wales border. Within our land lies an ancient black and white church and rustic church hall, only accessible down our fields. The location is stunning and completely private. I have always felt the location, with its 360 degree views, lends it self to the most beautiful countryside wedding venue setting. Mindful of the stunning setting we install temporary marquees, tipis or yurt so the bridal party can enjoy the location without any permanent structures detracting from this beautiful ancient, quaint spot.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because I'm passionate in creating your dream day. We will create you desired wedding reception structure and you can arrange all you suppliers, caterers, bars, music or we can work with you and create a total package for you. You have the option of a church ceremony or we have a celebrant who you personalise a ceremony for you.
Which ever you choose you won't find a more relaxed beautiful countryside wedding location.
