Milk tea (guessing 20-24 oz?) with boba at $4.95 seems competitive for this area. For our first time, we tried the taro milk tea, but forgot to customize and ask for less sugar and more ice, so it was super sweet (common for taro powdered flavor) and not quite cold enough. I love, love, love this place.  In fact, once I discovered this place, I went back once a week for several weeks. So far I've tried the raspberry, mango, Thai, hazelnut, and lavender milk teas with boba. My favorite so far was The raspberry.  The staff here is so friendly. They also serve the exact same ice cream as Two Scoops, so if you don't have one near you, come here and they have about 6 different flavors.  I sampled the blueberry cheesecake ice cream. O.M.G. fabulous. They also have small bites and a rewards program to get free stuff. Inside, they have board games that you can sit at a table and play.  They also have a couple of tables outside. I found the drinks at QC quite juicy, but not too tasty.I like this place, but I think they premix some of their drinks, but they were out of boba within an hour of closing. It's a shame I didn't get to try their Boba.They are extremely friendly and their Okinawa was not bad. It also wasn't great. Somewhere in the middle - around about average.They're pretty good about letting people stay in here a few minutes after closing which is nice because it helped me out. QC Tea Bar might be one of my favorite places in Charlotte to get boba tea. Their cute and cozy shop provides large menus along with a photo slide show of some of their popular items. Their food menu is small but the items listed to provide a hearty snack are tasty. They also have cute merchandise available for purchase. QC Tea Bar sets itself apart from other bubble tea spots in the area with its unique offerings. Even though you really can't go wrong with ANY of the drinks here, I am partial to the mudslide boba, taro milk tea, and the ocean brew coffee. The staff here is always very pleasant and accommodating. I bring out-of-town guests here quite frequently. It's a fun atmosphere and the employees are always more than willing to suggest something tasty, to bubble tea newbies and veterans alike. I've tried several new (to me) toppings and flavors and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend a visit to QC Tea Bar and can't wait to return myself! More...

I have been looking for a really good bubble tea place near me for a little bit now and QC Tea Bar is definitely it! Lychee is my favorite flavor to get with bubble tea so as soon as I saw they had it I just had to try it. And it did not disappoint! I was recommended by some friends to come here and try the popcorn chicken and it was so delicious. They had seasonings on the chicken (can't immediately think of what they were off the the top of my head) but I've never had chicken like it before. I would absolutely come back here again and try some of their other small bites options. They have a rewards system where every dollar you spend is a point and once you get 100 points you can redeem it for free stuff. They have a shelf of merchandise and each thing is listed with how many points each item can be redeemed for. A really neat idea if I say so myself. They have about 7 or 8 different tea toppings to choose from and types of different fruit tea and milk tea flavors so your possibilities of combinations are endless! This place has a nice chill vibe to it. The staff is friendly and the drinks are pretty flavorful. I recommend the Thai Green Tea since it’s one of my favorites. Of course majority of the drinks are delicious though. Let’s not also forget how amazing the chicken popcorn is though. If you haven’t tried it, YOU MUST!!! The regular flavoring is salt and pepper, but you do have the option to make it a bit spicy. The fries are delicious too. My go-to favorite is the sweet potato fries. I was craving bubble tea so we decided to finally check this place out since it's 5 minutes from where we live. Apparently we are the only ones who didn't know how awesome this place was. We are there at 2:30 on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded. The service was great. They were happy to offer recommendations. They also let us sample one of the milk teas and told us they would remake our drinks if we didn't like something. We ended up getting a honey green milk tea with cheese cream and boba along with a taro milk tea with sea salt cream and boba. Both were really good. I preferred the cheese cream top over the sea salt cream. We also tried their popcorn chicken. We got one with sweet chili and one with Korean BBQ sauce. I preferred the Korean BBQ sauce. The chicken didn't even need sauce though. It was very tender and flavorful. We got one with waffle fries and one when Cajun fries. Both fries were delicious. This is easily my favorite place to get milk tea. Its also tops my list of restaurants in Steele Creek. Definitely a place to checkout if you're in the mood for boba tea and/or a light meal. My favorite boba place in the Charlotte region that I have tried so far. I went here 4x in a single week after my first discovery of this gem. They have dairy-free options, so I was able to bring one of my dear friend to this place to have her first experience with boba. My favorite drink is the Black Oolong Tea with Crystal Boba. I have also tried their wings and fries which they fry and season to perfection. The waffle fries were a little weird for my taste because they seem to be coated in a cheese seasoning and were thinly sliced, but that was the only problem that I had with their food.
