What do you love most about your job?
Honestly, the greatest benefit is being able to write my own schedule. I can work 12 hours one day, go on vacation the next, and work while I am away on the rainy days. Beyond that, I enjoy the process, the challenges, the tech, and constant learning.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working in Television Broadcasting for 13 years gave me the knowledge, but was a demanding schedule to produce 24 hours of programming every day. I needed a change in scenery and the challenge of producing a variety of videos. Q Video was born of this desire. While I still work for the TV station on specific projects, I have been able to do music videos, real estate promotions, event recording, marketing packages, and even be involved in a feature film "Coming up for Air" to be released early 2019. Every new project pushes me to learn new skills and new ways to tell a story.
