Hands down the best DJ I've ever had the privilege of dancing poorly to! We hired his services for a golden anniversary and his music selection was a mix of all the favorites for multiple generations to enjoy. 10/10 would recommend!! Professional and super friendly. My husband and I got married on October 13th, 2018 at Hoy Ranch. The owner of the venue said they strongly recommended DJ Armando since they had used him for several other family parties in the past. We met with Armando twice for before the wedding to go over songs, and our timeline. He also made the trip out to our venue the week before the wedding to make sure he brought the perfect set up for the venue, since it was half indoor and half outdoor. There are only positive things to say about our whole experience with him. We have been hearing from our guest even days after our wedding how awesome the DJ was! Our wedding was on a night right after a huge thunder and lightening storm. It was in the 50's at night, and we still had a big crowd at the end of the night because the wedding was filled with warmth from our family and friends, and GREAT MUSIC!!! Armando did a fabulous job DJing/MCing our wedding ! Very professional. Not only can he mix well, he sticks to your song genre requests but he knows how to keep the party on the dance floor! DJ Pete was great at my mother's 50th surprise birthday party. We booked at the last minute, so there was minimal prep work done, but he kept the party going all night! He did a great job balancing his "radio commentary" and just playing music that he could tell fit that moment. He did a great job playing a little bit of everything, to help fit our eclectic music taste.He was also extremely helpful in helping us inform and gather guests (since there was over 100 guests). Best choice we made for entertainment was to hire DJ Armondo for our wedding. He worked with us on a short time frame, sat down with us to pre plan songs. Truly amazingly talented DJ!! DJ Armando organized our daughters Elisa's Quinceñera in August at the Marriott hotel in Riverside.  Armando came highly recommended by our school where he has hosted other events. During our pre-event meeting, Armando was able to complete our vision on how we wanted our event to occur from the schedule, introductions, speeches, music to the smallest details such as lighting and que's.  Armando also arranged our father/daughter dance combilation with cool sound transitions. At the day of the event we were worry free because he and his crew had it all handled.  What I liked most was that Armando was right on schedule and was very good at anticipating and improvising on anything that was not on the schedule!!!!The music was ENERGIZING and his bilingual MC abilities was professional, respectful and inviting.  We had a blast and most importantly our Daughter and all of her guest had a Magical Time.  Armando...Thank you for exceeding our expectations....I will and have referred you with 2 thumbs up and raving reviews.  Looking forward to the next one! My wife and I booked Armando for our wedding ceremony that happened in late October and we wanted to leave a review and let everyone know how pleasant it was to have him as our DJ. Armando was extremely professional from the day of our initial meeting to the day of the wedding. He was well prepared, organized, and had an excellent attitude. He made sure that everything was catered to us and was thorough with his work. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early, dressed professionally, and completely nailed the atmosphere we were looking for at our wedding. He did an amazing job setting the mood of the night. DJ Armando is a friendly guy, organized and professional, great with a crowd and can play a large variety of music. Very good with requests. His set-up is on the simple side, but he has a few lights synced to the music and the speakers are plenty loud for small to mid-sized groups.I would give him 5 stars EXCEPT he steps on the ends of songs too often, occasionally so bad so, he butchers the song. Not sure why he does it since the crowd didn't care at this particular event.Still, I'd recommend him to anybody. More...

I have now used DJ Armando FOUR times for my events:  My Pop's 70th, my son's going away party, my son's wedding, and my high school reunion.  In every event Armando gathers information specific to the party and tailors the music to the crowd.  His sound system and light display is fabulous!  He is the most personable person that I know.  He has a HUGE array of music and if you have some oddball request he will make it happen.  He really reads the crowd and keeps the party flowing.  I have recommended Armando so many times that I should have a punch card.  You will not be sorry having Q the Music for your entertainment needs and your guests will have the time of their lives! Armando is amazing!  I had a Great Gatsby Themed Birthday Party and my guests are still talking about what an amazing job he did. .. and they are even hoping to attend another event where he is the DJ! :)  He did an amazing job -- most importantly Armando works and pays attention to what type of music and songs "get people on the dance floor!"  About half my guests were ballroom dancers (which can be intimidating) and the half not so -- and he nailed it!!  Guests whom I thought might leave early -  stayed to the very end--- dancing!  We could have danced all night to Armando's tunes!!!!Armando is a "DJ Extraordinaire" -- doing an equally great job as "MC" for the evening.  I e-mailed Armando my party time-line a few days before the party and also a short intro on each guest to read as he called the tables to the buffet -- and he graciously, and without hesitation, accepted and read this narrative -- which meant he was playing background music and talking for about 20 minutes straight  -AND he actually read the intros that I emailed him ahead of time, and prepared himself for the narration!   How great is that !!! He did this so well -- and it was important to me  because I had guests attending who were from different times in my life - spanning 50+ years - and it allowed everyone to see who was attending and how they knew me -- awesome!!!  Armando is very attentive to detail -- as I was, in putting the Gatsby Gala together, --  and because of this not only did my guests have a great time, it allowed me to relax and have a wonderful time the night of the actual party!  It was a once-in-a-lifetime party and DJ Armando made it happen!!!! Oh my goodness, WHAT A NIGHT!!!! We used Armando and Q the Music for our wedding on March 12, 2016. It was a magical night and it wouldn't have been the same without Armando. Everyone was talking about what a great party it was and I know that a lot of that was due to the music. Armando kept the party going all night and really made it easy for my husband and I to have an amazing time without worrying about what we were supposed to do next. He really knows how to make a party flow and his song choices were spot on. The dance floor was packed the entire night and everyone was having a blast! Armando came over to the house we were having the wedding at a few days before to take a look at the space and run through the night with us. DJ Armando was a true pleasure to work with.  I had the opportunity to meet DJ Armando this past weekend at a wedding that we worked together at Paradise Point.  It was a hot and rather long event for us both and Armando made it fun and seamless.  I have never worked with a DJ that kept the dance floor FULL the entire night, took all requests and always had a smile on his face.  He was easy to communicate with prior to the wedding, was organized and prepared for any emergency to arise (like me needing a long extension cord!!) I feel bad that this review is coming so late, but it is necessary! DJ Armando, who was referred to us by Sterling Productions, worked my wedding back in August 2013. He was amazing. Absolutely. I would hire him again, and I know anyone who needs a DJ I will recommend him. I can't properly describe into words how easy it was working with him and how smoothly our wedding went because of him. My husband and I cheaped out on our DIY wedding and didn't hire a wedding coordinator. It made us a little nervous. Honestly, we didn't need to because our officiant had the ceremony down and DJ Armando had the cocktail hour and reception. (Of course, we volunteered family members to help set up and clean up. That is priceless.) He is so nice, experienced, and knows how to get a crowd of any demographic up and moving around on the dance floor. We met with him twice. Once before we signed our agreement, and once a week before to go over the type of music we wanted and also to get his input in terms of the reception timeline. That timeline is important!  DJ Armando got us as a couple, and on the day of the wedding, he got things to run smoothly so we wouldn't miss anything before the 11 pm finish.
