What do you love most about your job?
We love delighting our customers and if you read our testimonial pages you can read there comments for yourself.
We really enjoyed the wedding (and honeymoon) and one of the best parts of the reception was the firework display. It was amazing, so much better than we could have anticipated it to be (and obviously we were expecting it to be good!). We have had so much positive feedback from guests to say how much they enjoyed the display and how incredible they were. They will definitely be something we will always remember about our day and we would like to thank you and Martin (as well as any others involved) for such a great experience.
Threshold used Entertainment Effects for the delivery of the Finish Line moment for the Radio 1: Gregathlon for Sport Relief event. It was great to be able to use one supplier for all our needs from PA system, gantry, branding and Pyro’s. Thank you so much for being so helpful on the day and for such a seamless delivery. I can honestly say this was one of the most spectacular events we have ever had in this part of the world. I have received a lot of great feedback from the night. One person said he has seen displays all over the world and this was as good as he has seen any where . I must also praise Neil and his team on their professionalism nothing was any bother to them and they were a credit to the company. Thanks again on behalf of the people of Oban for a great night.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a number of multinational companies in London, where I was just part of a big machine. I never got to see an entire project from start to finish.
Working in events is great because it gives you the opportunity to see every aspect of a job, from taking the first phone call to final shake of the hand once the job is complete.
Running your own businesses is incredibly hard work, but the rewards of working directly with people and seeing the outcome of your efforts makes it all worth while.
