My dog started bumping into walls and couldn't see within a days time,  I had never been there before but they got me in quickly.  Turns out she has diabetes.  Dr Carvell and staff were great. She even called me at home multiple times to check on my pup and see how we were doing with the insulin shots.  I would highly recommend this clinic. More...

The whole staffing team here are great. They have walk-ins options for certain days but if you purrfur an appointment it's only a day wait. This clinic is reasonable priced.

I brought my cat in after his ear swelled up with fluid. I called the office and they set me up with an appointment the next day. The checkup fee was reasonable and they were more than fair with the recommended treatment. They could drain the fluid and give him a cortisone shot, but they were open about the result being the same as just leaving it be and eventually taking care of itself. They were also low pressure about treatment v. leaving it and were reassuring that leaving it would not cause further damage or pain while it healed. My little dog was attacked by a big dog and badly injured. I rushed him to Purrfurred Pets on Bell Rd and they were wonderful! They took my dog in right away and gave him a pain injection immediately. They were clearly concerned about both of us and took great care of my poor little pup. They explained everything to me step by step and managed to calm me down and reasure me that he would be okay. After the pain injection took affect they took me back to see that he was calm and no longer hurting. I think he also knew that he was with people who genuinely cared about his welfare. He had to have drains placed in the puncture wounds and they handled it quickly and professionally so that I could get him home as soon as possible. The whole staff was so compassionate and professional and the cost was way less than I expected. Purrfurred Pets will be my Veterinary clinic for as long as pets are part of my family! More...

These people are truly Gods angels they saved my baby Lucky, Dr Hannah Found the problem and with the help of Paula Lukys nurse got to work right away on getting Lucky scheduled for surgery ASAP! Dr Ann did the surgery the next day she is amazing we cannot thank her enough. And of course we can't forget to thank nurse Shawn so caring she has been checking on Lucky every day. I love the vets here. Every visit I leave feeling good and knowing my dog is taken care of. She loves coming here and wags her little tail every time she sees the girls. The location is clean and always has treats for the dogs. It's very affordable compared to other vets in the area and I don't feel rushed no matter what I'm there for. They even have a time you can come and techs can administer vaccines so you aren't charges s visit fee as well. More...

My nine year old dog Goldie has been very lethargic and in pain. Two ER visits but she was not treated for her condition as all of tests were negative. Shawna and Dr. Nancy were exemplary in their skills and care. Dr. Nancy treated her with antibiotic, muscle relaxants and recommendations. Goldie is 25% better this morning. Because of her pain level, the pills are difficult to give orally and she is not eating much so hiding in can food is not an option. Shawna stated she would follow up this afternoon so they may need to order liquid from another pharmacy to get meds down her as prescribed. Our regular pharmacy did not have liquid. More...

This place saved my dog's life and I am furever grateful! Everyone there was very kind and friendly. The surgery that my dog needed was very costly but they worked with me and were able to bring it down to a much more reasonable cost. Her surgery also required her to be spayed, and they were able to contact an organization to have them cover the cost of her spaying. Would recommend to anyone. More...

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. C and all the staff. Very professional and kind. Had just moved to Arizona and our cat became ill. She had a good life at age 13. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision of having Zoey put to sleep. Dr. C very caring and we were able to hold Zoey. Very peaceful. They made all the arrangements. We even got a sympathy card. New to the area - brought our 17 year old sick cat in. They were able to get him in that day, and provided excellent care. He is an old cantankerous Siamese who doesn't like anyone, but they were soothing and he was calm for the entire exam. We were impressed! My husband and myself had taken one of our pets mayham here. We had called a week prior but they were not open on Sat when I needed to bring him in. But we decided just from talking on the phone this would be our vet for all our needs after the sat vet appt at Banfield. And we ended up her at purrfurred sooner then we wanted to with same dog. We woke up with him bleeding from a place we never would have thought about and they took us in rt away. We showed up to the owner sitting in the waiting area taking to us while the vet looks over our pup. They did the surgery for way less then we would have thought about for surgery. He is home now since Friday and doing well. We can't thank them enough for taking us in and helping with the surgery for a low cost. More...

I came to Purrfurred Pets to get a second opinion on a procedure that my dog needed after having a not so good experience at another vet office. When I first entered the clinic the owner didn't waste any time coming over to me and formally introducing himself and thanking me for coming. I felt like the staff here really cared about what they were doing and the price they quoted me seemed extremely fair compared to what I received at other places. I ended up having them do the procedure and I'd like to thank Dr. Ann Carvell and their lead technician Shawna for taking such good care of my baby. We received a voucher to have Buddy neutered at the VA stand down at the Colosseum. He came to us as a stray. He came to you with a hip out of socket. You must have popped it back in while he was under because he came back to us running like a puppy again. You have improved his quality of life immensely, I can't thank you enough.
