we have recently completed our baby's first year package with Sophie. This included a newborn, Christmas and cake smash shoot. We chose Sophie as she had photographed my eldest daughters first birthday pics too and we loved them. I was nervous about the shoot..taking photos of twin babies is not easy!! Sophie was patient and her friendly, lovely personality brought out the smiles I often struggle to get. The kids love her. She also gives you the option of coming to her studio or she comes to you - great if kids feel more comfortable at home. I was a bit apprehensive at first about our newborn shoot. I was worried about our baby crying, being sick/weeing/pooping and wanting fed etc during our session. But I had no reason to be worried. Sophie made us feel so at ease while she was photographing Matilda. She is so amazing with babies and so so patient. I think Matilda made a new best friend! Matilda had quite a few a milk breaks and Sophie never batted an eyelid when she had huge wee with no nappy on! Nothing was rushed and the results really show this. The photos are absolutely amazing. So amazing that I’m struggling to decide which ones I’m going to put up on the wall! The mounted print included in our package is absolutely gorgeous and you can see straight away that it is of a very high quality. I’d recommend Pure Imagination Photography to anyone looking for some amazing photos of their babies/children. Thank you again Sophie for the beautiful photos of Matilda. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret is, seeing beyond the normal eye. You need to see the creativity each photograph can hold, looking beyond your subjects, and really amplifying the beauty.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
I ask my clients what it is THEY want from my services. I allow my clients to choose what they want; for example, with my newborn sessions, I use various props, blankets and wraps - this is where I let them choose the colours they want their little one wrapped in, the backdrop they'd like to use, everything. When it comes to my wedding clients, I offer a consultation, where we'll get to know each other and see what package is right for them, based on what they want out of the day. Everything is my clients view, because at the end of the day, they're their images.
What do you love most about your job?
I love the people I meet. I've been extremely blessed with the loveliest clients, you could ever ask for. I've made lifelong friends with them, and I go above and beyond their expectations. I'm a 5 star photographer, and 8 out of 10 times, my clients keep booking with me for various sessions. I've got clients who have been with me for 3 to 5 times for different sessions, and that to me, is just incredible. To be trusted, and have people think highly of me and what I do, just makes this dream all the more real.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always love photography, ever since I was a little girl, and my grandfather gave me my first camera. I would save up for various cameras over the years, which lead me to my first DSLR at the age of 16, which I was asked to photographed my mother and step-father's wedding, which was an incredible honour.
I've always been an artist, and it was when I was at university doing an Art and Design Foundation Diploma, that I had a module on photography - and I just fell in love. I then went on to study photography at another university, then other various photography courses, and would photograph family friends occasions on the weekends while working full time. Then I truly focused on my own business, put in the long, hard hours of building it up, and now I have created my very own empire, which is a dream come true.
All this, from my first camera at 8 years old.
Why should our clients choose you?
I am truly dedicated to what I do. I live and breathe photography, and creating memories that last a lifetime.
I've decicated myself to everything I've studied and built, into works of art.
I love people, and I made the decision to put my clients first, ahead of money. Which is why I always give my clients ALL of their images for free, without demanding they buy them - I do not believe in withholding what's rightfully theirs, in order for "ransom".
If you chose me, to photograph a special occasion, you'll be getting everything and more for your money. I edit to the highest standard, I give my clients everything, and I also like to give free prints with each package, just as a thank you for booking in with me.
I put in more hours than most do, because I edit a lot of images for my clients - none of the standard 1 "free" digital print on a USB, or at a push 10. I edit a lot of photographs; for example, with my newborn, cake smash, family sessions, I edit between 30-35 images, all to be given to them on a disc.

The Classic Wedding Package - £450
This package is for 5 hours photographing time, starting from your choice; for example, starting at the ceremony, including group portraits at the venue, confetti throw, bride and groom portraits alone, and snapping some photos at the reception for the remaining time.
This package includes:
Pre-wedding consultation
Wedding photography album
3 copies of 8X6” images, presented in 10x8” mounts
5 hours photographing, starting at your choice of time
Typically from 5 hours work, you’ll get around 150 images to choose from, every photograph you see is edited and presented ready to display in your wedding album.
You'll receive all your wedding images on a disc too!
The Deluxe Wedding Package - £695
The Deluxe Wedding Package is full of wonderful features. We begin photographing from thw wedding ceremony, right through to the first dance. This allows us to capture every aspect of your special day, giving you every single moment to look back on.
We will also set up our 'photobooth' set up for your family and guests to have a little fun!
This package includes:
Pre-wedding consultation
Wedding photography album
5 copies of 8X6” images, presented in 10x8” mounts
Typically from 7 hours work, you’ll get around 300 images to choose from, every photograph you see is edited and presented ready to display in your wedding album.
And you'll receive all your edited images on a disc also!
The Whole Wedding Package - £895
The Whole Package is our best yet. We offer a full day coverage from bridal preparation until your first dance, allowing us to document every moment. This package has so much more to offer, giving you more edited images, extra photographs in mounts, and our 'photobooth' set up for your family and guests to have a little fun!
This package includes:
Pre-wedding consultation
Wedding photography album
10 copies of 8X6” images, presented in 10x8” mounts
one 38mm Wooden Frame Rectangle 18x12” Canvas
Full day of photographing, you’ll get around 500 images to choose from, every photograph you see is edited and presented ready to display in your wedding album.
And you'll receive all of your images on a disc too!
Christening Ceremony - £85
This includes your babies ceremony photographed, as well as all group photos taken at the church.
With this you'll receive all beautifully edited images on a disc, as well as two free prints in 10x8 mounts.
Full Day Christening Service - £200
This is a brilliant package, beginning with photographing the ceremony, and all group photos to be taken at the church.
I'll also follow you to your party venue, where I'll set up my "Photobooth" , which is a studio like setup, using a backdrop you've chosen from my collection and studio lights and props, where I'll photograph you and your guests having fun, and some lovely candid ones too. You'll have me at the party venue for 4 hours, ensuring you'll receive all edited images on a disc, as well as two free prints in 10x8 mounts.
Family Portraits - £70
A wonderful package to get the family together, and create some memories!
You can choose a studio setup, with a backdrop of your choosing, or opt for an outdoor session, wherever you like!
This price is for a standard family of 5 people. For more people, a small emotional charge will apply.
You'll receive all edited images on a disc, with two free prints in 10x8"mounts.
Newborn Portrait Session - £85
You'll get up to 3 hours photographing time, as babies may need and change in this time. Plus you'll get all edited images on a disc, plus two free prints in 10x8"mounts.
Cake Smash Session -£65
You'll get to choose the background you'd like, from my collection, as well as the bunting/banner choice and props you'd like in your photos.
You get all edited images on a disc, as well as two free prints in 10x8"mounts.
Children's Portraits - £85
With this session, we'll photograph your lovely children, either in a studio setting, or somewhere lovely outdoors - you get to decide where you'd like to go!
You'll receive all edited images on a disc, as well as two free prints in 10x8" mounts.
A Love Story - £65
This session is designed for couples, such as celebrating engagements, or simply celebrating your love for one another. It's a gorgeous session, which can be taken on the studio, or outdoors at a special place of yours! We don't commemorate our love enough, so this session is perfect for doing so.
You'll receive all edited images on a disc, as well as two free prints in 10x8" mounts!
