I can't thank Donna at Pure Elegance enough for all she did for our wedding last Saturday at Parr Hall Farm. I never thought about having a wedding planner when we first got engaged, I knew what I wanted & thought I could create it myself. Then we met Donna & she understood exactly what I wanted, came up with more fabulous ideas & took the weight off my shoulders. We planned our wedding in 6 months & Donna made it feel so easy. Nothing was too much trouble, no question was daft to ask & I was asked how I felt over every detail. I was more than happy to let Donna make the decisions on most things as I knew from the start that she would make the best choice. Organising a wedding is hard work! (but well worth it!) Throughout the planning process you meet many suppliers of different services who are all keen to help you have the perfect day. Of all the professionals we met across all services we were most at ease that Donna and her team would deliver and the venue would be exactly how we imagined to reflect our personal style. Donna did just that with both our Ceremony and Wedding Breakfast room at Garstang Golf Hotel, we were blown away! We couldn't of been happier with how beautiful our rooms looked. All our guests commented on how amazing it was, furthermore, the venue were that impressed on how the rooms were transformed they are keen to use and promote Donna's services for future weddings (bearing in mind this was the first time Donna had worked at the venue!). What was certain is that Donna genuinely cares and loves her work. She did an amazing job! The amount of compliments we got from our guests proved it.
We where very nervous about getting married before we met her as we didn’t know what to expect or do or what even happens but she made us feel at ease and she literally went above and beyond! Totally took all my stresses away and made even my wedding planning a stress free experience.

From the first time we met, her ideas and enthusiasm for my daughters 18th were just brilliant and all throughout has been so thorough with a precise attention to detail. sbe is supportive, kind and an absolute pleasure to deal with.. Considering I picked her randomly off google and only had her out to quote says something about the lady who turned up that day.
Any beautiful, tasteful event deserves Donna and considering the venue we used had been doing events for 58 years, the staff were blown away by the decorations for the room they had never seen anything like it .. Quite simply it took people's breath away when they walked in and what a memory for our family for our daughters 18th... I can't wait to see Donna again, either for a next event or simply a chat ..

What do you love most about your job?

I am very lucky to live my dream of planning and styling the most beautiful of weddings and events for each of my clients who become like friends to me and the rest of the team during this process and afterwards.
Nothing is too much trouble as I am as energised about your wedding or event as you are.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My absolute love for weddings and events coupled with the lack of qualified planners in the North-West.
There appear to be a number who operate without any such qualification which I feel isn't right but this industry isn't regulated and therefore is open to people who plan their own wedding and want to plan others. However, I wouldn't want to take a risk on my wedding day and therefore would want to know that if I was entrusting my occasion with a complete stranger, that they knew what they were doing.
Why should our clients choose you?
This is the part I don't like about my job - selling myself and my Company. I believe that my Facebook reviews and website testimonials speak for themselves however I do need to answer the question so here goes.
Not only do I have over 20 years experience in planning all types of events, but I am also a qualified International Event & Wedding Planning Professional so it's safe to say I know a thing or two about what you will require.
I have first class organisational skills and am excellent at multi-tasking and problem-solving. I have excellent supplier relationships and take extreme pride in each event from the planning right through to the execution to ensure that the clients remit is fully delivered and on budget. I am also a dedicated professional and there is nothing that is too much trouble. It is this ethos which is carried through to all members of my team.
My team and I will always:

* Respond asap to all enquiries
* Never pass on client details to parties not involved in the wedding or event
* Ensure our Public Libaility insurance is always current
