Great service!! This is a fun, relaxed bar but on the night we visited the service was the stand out element. We had just bought drinks but one fell over as it was placed on the table. They replaced the drink and cleaned it up straight away and then brought over a bowl of cocktail sausages. Great bar , found by accident, live music , quiz on a Wednesday and show sport on big screen .Had their Buffalo chicken strips as a put me on , lovely fiery taste , not silly hot but just enough .

Fun bar in Belfast! Went a few times. We were heading out of town and they let us in early so we could eat before travelling and were very friendly and had good night life and music.

I put efforts to seek this pub and sit and have lunch in it; I was very much drawn by the name, Pug Uglys. Serving was friendly. I had sort of Brazilian steak with salad as mains. The prawn salad appetizer is great, I ll have it double portion as my main course next time . The house brewed beer, Pug Uglys is great It s quite popular sport bar even for lunch in the metropolitan Belfast. It has a metropolitant feeling to it. Made me feel at home. Got a very chilled atmosphere. Although it may get packed you still manage to get served in time and the staff are friendly and informative. Highly recommended the Buffalo chicken goujons. They may be really spicy but they are so addictive. Would recommend on booking a table to avoid the mad rush. Live music is good also. More...
