Provisions Bake Shop

So happy I was referred to Provisions for my birthday cakes (that's right I said cakes, don't judge).  Not only were they designed exactly as I wanted but each were delicious.  I had a lemon cake (for my non chocolate lovers) and a chocolate cake.  Both were equally as awesome and received compliments all around.  Word of advice...follow the instructions given- leave the cake out to room temperature for at least an hour to hour and a half before serving.  You will have sweet moist cake if you do so ( I have had their cupcakes right out of the fridge so know the difference and will follow their instructions always!) I have ordered from provisions bake shop several times and I'm never been disappointed; each experience is better than the previous one. The key lime pie is to die for. We have used Provisions for many of our most important occasions!  Not only are the cakes absolutely delicious, but so creative and beautiful.  Every time we came in with an idea, she nailed it and it came out beautiful.  And they are so friendly and easy to work with.  I stop by sometimes just on my way home from work, just to pick up a delicious cupcake for the kids (and us) and they have homemade Mallomars that are to die for  You will never be disappointed.  Even when you walk in the store smells like fresh made Chocolate brownies or something else she is baking, just love it! I absolutely love Provisions, We have used Provisions for every one of our special occasions, Parents 70th, daughters Sweet 16, husbands 50th, etc. .... not only are the cake's delicious, but they are beautiful and artistic. They are so friendly and kind and really great to work with. We have never been disappointed, have always gotten rave reviews at all of our parties from all of our family and friends. And the cakes are not the only delicious part of Provisions, they have brownies, cupcakes and homemade Mallomars that are to die for, I am hungry just thinking of them!!!! More...

Great local bakeshop, mother and daughter team.  The cakes are delicious (red velvet is our favorite - very dense, rich flavor), and they have lots of wonderful individual treats (we like the whoopie pies :)  Definitely recommend.

Oh woow! the bake goods (raisin, carrot muffins & chocolate, oatmeal raisins cookies) are delightful and scrumptious! I can't get enough of its good taste that I keep returning. Love the sweets at Provisions. Their specialty cupcakes are the best. I remember a lemonade one in the summer and the apple pie one in the fall of last year as being especially delicious. A nice place to sit, enjoy a meticulously crafted baked good, and drink a cup of coffee while reading at one of their small tables. It's usually quiet, with people picking up cakes and other specialty orders. (I think that's where a lot of their business comes from. Good bakery, and a bright spot on Pelham's otherwise pretty dreary commercial main drag.  They make good cakes, and have become our go-to bakery for birthdays and other occasion cakes (we used to use Bradley's in Larchmont, but they routinely got the orders wrong. ..).  Cheerful, attentive, friendly staff.  Recommended. Nanette was WONDERFUL to work with and produced the most delicious treats. We ordered cookies from her to give as our wedding favors (which were absolutely delicious), and we were going to order a cupcake tower, because we couldn't decide which flavor of cake we loved the most, but I ended up changing our plan and, with Nanette's help, surprising my fiancee (now husband! ) with a groom's cake. Not only was the carrot cake absolutely the hit of the wedding, Nanette actually designed an awesome guitar-themed based off of pictures I sent her. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience with Pelham Provisions. We live in Denver, CO now, but once we move back to the east coast for good, they will become our go-to backer for all special and daily occasions. Really amazing baked goods! More...

Ordered the cupcake-shaped sugar cookies for my son's 5th birthday.  For a small fee, each was wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow, making them the perfect substitute for a useless goody bag.  I was happy I ordered a few more than I needed, as we enjoyed the extras for a couple of days post-party. Went here because I'm student teaching at the school. People recommended the place to go on my break and I haven't stopped going. The quality of everything is so high. Even the salad pieces have been sifted through so there isn't one wilted leaf. The chicken, soup, and even croutons are all handled with extreme care. The place is immaculate. Plus! This place is small but so warm and comfy, it radiates warmth. I'm weird I do not like sitting alone but here I sit on the stool by the window and eat my food while watching people. Desserts are phenomenal and as you wait for food you can watch the bakers decorate cakes. Love this place so much! More...
