After a chance meeting with Nicola a few years back , my parents used PLP so rewrite their wills and get their affairs sorted. Nicola was beyond professional and listened properly to their concerns and wishes, she gave advice without pressure and she had their full confidence. Unfortunately a year later I had to contact to ask how to activate a lasting power of attorney as my dad was very ill, Nicola was informative and compassionate and said to call at anytime if needed. Sadly my dad passed and I had to make the dreaded call to Wendy, she made the processes that followed much easier with her advice and care and was very supportive. Over the period since losing dad everything has been sorted and finalised with speed and without intrusion. The accountant and solicitor used have been just as respectful and due to Wendy’s professionalism there has been little need for mum to be contacted and questioned, these things are hard when ur grieving. It feels a bit of a gamble when u plan your end of life wishes , u won’t know if a company is genuine because you won’t be here. The “what if dads been scammed” thought raced through my head, just being honest and not because I really thought it but fear sets in with the heartbreak. I can say, with my hand on my heart, that this company are amazing, nothing fake, no empty promises, always available to speak....I spoke to Wendy today ! My advice.....call them ask questions and get their help. Thank you Wendy & Nicola for everything xxx More...

What inspired you to start your own business?
After working in the industry for may years, I quickly realised that estate planning was lacking a personal service and amounts charged for services often did not fit with the work being done, so we here at Protected Life, we brought all our specialist backgrounds together, to provide a service which helped every one of our clients with the correct prices for the services we provide, so our clients can be sure they have a fair price and are in safe qualified hands.
