Describe your creative process.
Every project starts in the same way; we listen. We ideally sit down with the client and discuss the project, asking key questions and gaining insight into their target audience and business alike. We then break the project down to concepts followed by the artwork. Depending on the budgets we like to present a selection of concepts for the client to review. The chosen concept is then developed and final artwork produced.
We realise every project (and budget) is different, but understanding your objectives and listening to your needs helps to keep the creative process as smooth and swift as possible.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
Before we start any creative we need to understand (and agree with you);
How many ideas/concepts do you expect?
Do you have preconceived ideas in mind? Or are you open to a range of ideas?
Are there any definite no-no's! (If you can't stand green it's best to know from the start so the designers can avoid them from the start.)
What's you're budget?
How many rounds of corrections/alterations do you envisage? We as standard building two rounds, but if you feel more are needed we can build these in.
What are the timescales and how flexible can these be?
Finally do you have any copy/imagery we can work with, or will we be starting from scratch?
What do you love most about your job?
We love the creative process! We enjoy taking an initial brief and creating designs that work for you and your business. We really like to think of ourselves as your internal design/marketing support team. Many of our clients have been with us a number of years because we care about their brand.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Progression started (nearly 20 years ago) when two partners decided they could do it better! We feel just as strongly today. We don't have account handlers and keep the management team to a minimum so you as the client get to deal directly with the designer/s working on your project. We're not based in London so don't have those silly London rents to pay! So we can offer a premium service at a sensible cost.
