This is a great organization! Jessica (the owner) is professional, responsive and seems to genuinely care about our pup. The staff is always reliable so it's nice to have one less thing to worry about. Our dog is well cared for in her hands and I wouldn't think of going elsewhere. We feel like Jessica is part of the family. She is approachable and honest - we receive text updates with photos constantly while she is watching our dogs. Without a blink of an eye she will take in mail & packages and even make sure our plants are taken care of. Jessica has been taking care of our cat, Harry, for the past year. She has been absolutely wonderful, always keeping us up-to-date on her visits with Harry. Jessica is amazing and I cannot say enough great things about her! First of all, Jess is the President of the National Association of Pet Sitters which speaks volumes about her right there. Most of all, we trust Jess with our dogs, and we know that any dog sitters Jess may employ meet her high standard of excellence. We have two dogs who mean the world to us and we are very particular about who watches them. Jess has been watching our dogs for years, and even though she knows our dogs well, Jess always asks if there have been any changes, for example, has there been any change to their food, their play or sleep schedules, are they currently taking any medication? Whatever the situation, Jess is always accommodating and wonderful. She makes sure that everything is all set for our dogs before we have to leave and if she has any questions, she doesn’t hesitate to call. Whenever we call her, she responds right away. Jess is extremely friendly with a terrific sense of humor. We can tell how much she loves our dogs, loves playing with them, walking them and taking care of them. Professional Pet Sitters is a FANTASTIC dog walking / pet sitting service! I cannot say enough good things about their staff and their service! I heard about them from a friend who used to work for them and am so happy I got their information. I have been using their service over the last year and a half and they are just great at communicating how your pet is doing and their scheduling system is so easy to use. I love that they keep you informed on how your pet is doing each day you are away, photos included. They will even go the extra mile to help when your neighbors pipes freeze and workers need access to your unit. This seriously happened! Jessica went above and beyond to let workers in and out of our condo. It made my husband and I feel much more relaxed on our vacation because normally we would have come straight home. But Jessica had it covered, thank you! I always feel connected with my pet while I am away and actually go on vacation feeling at ease that my pet is being well taken care of. I never feel that way – my bulldog is my firstborn! And to be honest, it’s hard to find someone you can trust to stay at your house and take care of your pet. They are professional and truly take care of your pet like it was their own.

A little about how we started using Professional Pet Sitters…..My husband and I were in a bind because our old family friend / pet sitter moved away weeks before a 12 day trip to Iceland. We could not find any dog sitting service that would stay overnight in our place for that length of time in March (Spring Break season). We were so worried because our 6 year old bulldog is extremely spoiled and has never been crated nor away from home. He was also just recovering from double ACL surgery so you can see that we would not just let anyone watch our dog. We had an introductory meeting with Doreen and Jessica so that they could meet the bulldog and see the quirkiness of our home. They spent an hour getting to know us and the bulldog which made us feel at ease. Closer to the pet sitting date, they met with us again to make sure our first visit was good to go. Since then, I get a call from Professional Pet Sitters before our dog sitting dates and we talk about any changes and confirm the keys work / etc. It’s really thorough and makes me feel much more relaxed that the dog will be taken care of while we are away.

I highly recommend this pet service. They are organized and allow you to schedule in advance and pay in advance (helps with budgeting for vacation!). I just can’t say enough good things about my experience with them. More...

I used Professional Petsitters Inc for 6 years because I had a 50% travel position. I would be gone 2-3 weeks at a stretch and one of the sitters would spend the night in my home. My home was always clean and the dogs were always happy. I had no worries about security while I was gone. My dogs needed daily medications and they worked with my veterinarian to ensure the best care possible. I now have a cat and they are my vacation cat care! More...

Professional Pet Sitters, Inc. is the least professional company I have ever worked for. They started me early, didn't provide the promised iPad for GPS, email and LeashTime. The owner forgot to pick me up for training on my first day. They gave me a bag full of peoples keys and address' without running a background check, and did all of this without having so much as my social security number or having me fill out any new hire paperwork. Then they took me off the schedule with no warning or communication after a week of working for them. I have been trying to reach them for three days to get my pay prior to payday and have not received a response from the owner. As a professional with a background in apartment maintenance and general contracting, I find it very disheartening that this company is allowing strangers into your homes to take care of your loved ones without so much as a criminal background check.
