Shelley and her team are the greatest. The 30 minute sessions really challenge you but they are do-able and can work into anyone's busy schedule. I've been attending since they opened and I truly can't imagine not going my 3x/week! More...

Proactive has a super atmosphere, great staff, workable schedules and lots of variety! The small classes and personal feel makes this a wonderful stress free fitness centre.

I have been attending ProActive Fitness since January 2017. I enjoy the classes and the instructors. The fact that the classes are always different is great. Love the variety. A half hour is all you need to sweat (and feel it the next 2 days). Worth every penny!! More...

It's not corny when you walk in and they "know your name"!
Shelley and her team are fun, energizing and committed to helping you be the best you possible, and take into consideration where you are on your journey, injuries and all!
I actually look forward to coming to work out and I am always amazed at how far I can be challenged in 30 min sessions! Which are so do-able in our busy lives!
It's such a positive environment!

It's been one month since I joined Proactive Fitness, and it is simply one of the best things I have ever done! Shelley and her team are amazing, their positive approach and energy make the workouts fun. I look forward to each session and really do enjoy each one. The approach Shelley uses is definitely one I
can work with. So often diets fail, and the gym time fades, with Shelley it's an approach that includes all aspects if being the best you can be. I am focused and positive, and also filled with more energy than I have had for a very long time! Having joined the 6 week challenge has made me more mindful of my food intake, obviously for me a food log works! This challenge is also making me accountable to myself which is so important to me. Thank you Shelley and team for encouraging me and not judging, because of this approach, along with my desire to be better only great things can happen!

I've been with Proactive Fitness for over a year! I've never stuck with an exercise program that long...ever! The classes are small and times are flexible to meet my needs. The instructors are super at tailoring an exercise to accommodate physical struggles. The staff and members get to know each other and are very supportive of each other. My husband calls them my "Gym Family".
The best part is the improvement I've seen in myself. I am stronger and much more flexible. I don't cringe at the thought of picking something off the floor and getting up from my knees when gardening is now a breeze. It is a lot of little things that I notice but when added together has made my life soooo much easier and I feel healthier.

Fabulous trainers, very encouraging and knowledgeable. Small classes are perfect for making the individual adjustments while still maintaining a great workout for all. I was a sceptic but within a couple of classes changed my mind and mindset. Very personalized and great fun! The use of a variety of equipment makes it easy to transition into home workouts on the days you don’t sign up for a class. Website makes it very easy to schedule classes to my schedule. I have always been active with excersing at home or the gym but after retirement found that my inspiration was declining. I saw the "Shape up for Summer" challenge as a good opportunity to jump start my physical activity again. I loved the information given us, the gym classes, the instructors, and meeting new people! I also enjoyed the fact that every excercise was geared for people in my age group. The benefit that I experienced came within a week or so. Like better flexibility, balance and strength! Not to mention the inspiration to eat whole clean food and batch cooking with a weekly plan. I am now a member of Proactive Fitness and excited about the year ahead! More...

I signed up for the 6 week challenge at Proactive Fitness and I enjoyed it very much. This place is a great fit for me. I wish I found this place a long time ago. I work out 3 x a week and the workout is different every time, I never get bored doing same workout. The classes are groups of up to 6 people and most of the classes are 30 minutes long. Shelley and her fitness trainers are awesome! High Five! You made the workout fun and challenging every time. I’ve noticed the difference after 3-4 weeks of working out. ProActive Fitness was very helpful when I attended their sessions. Shelley Turk took me and showed me around the building to begin with. The sessions were designed for 6 people in a class, so that there is more one on one consultation. The classes are designed for older people who have problems moving their bodies. There are many modifications to the workout so that you can still workout and get benefits from it. I would recommend ProActive Fitness for you and your body! More...

I have been attending Proactive for over a year now and I just completed the New Year's Reboot challenge. I would recommend everyone attend one of the Proactive challenges they hold throughout the year. Focus is on exercise of course but I found the best oart was the nutrition aspect. Proactive staff are super - they are supportive, informative and encouraging. Actually everyone participating is supporting each other on their accomplishments. Not to mention you get a lot of recipes to help you along the way. The challenge used an app calked My Coach and it is a wonderful tool. You check in every day and it keeps you accountable, gives you tips and exercises. I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and have a renewed energy to really watch what I eat. I attend classes 3 times a week but learning more on whole foods was so valuable. Thanks Proactive for getting me on the right track. More...
