I’m Adam.
Paint is continuously present in my day to day life, whether it be from the work I do or the oil paintings that my partner creates. I have become somewhat obsessed with colours, pigments, it’s viscosity and fluidity.
I pride myself on knowing a great deal to do with this most decorative of trades, but the truth is ninety percent of it is in the preparation and that is what I am truly here for.

Adam, recently Painted and Decorated my bedroom. Adam did an excellent job, the end result is amazing. Stripping existing wallpaper, he did an fantastic job preparing all walls, smoothing out all lumps and bumps. He then lined the walls with lining paper, Painted wall, ceiling and skirting boards. I would recommend Pritchett Painting to everyone, very professional. This guy knows his craft. A pleasure to have him working in my home. As he enters a room Adam, asks you your thoughts then tells you exactly what needs doing to get this best result. He told me if he removed all existing wallpaper did all preparation to the walls, then lined it using lining paper and painted it will be the next best thing to make it look like it as been plastered without the cost of plastering. Adam recently redecorated my whole house interior. Previous tenants had painted grotesque colours throughout, generally treating the place very badly. Adam who came to paint the whole of my house, was polite, punctual and very reasonably priced. The standard of his work and his attention to detail is exemplary.Adam offered me advice on the colour schemes, as I wanted my rooms to feel bright and cheery without being too overpowering, where to place feature walls and how to make the most of features within the rooms. What do you love most about your job?
What do I love most about my job? I love transforming someone's home from a place they live into a place they love. It gives me great pleasure to see the look on a client's face when they are satisfied that they made the right artistic choices regarding their dwelling. Home is a place that we should always feel relaxed and have a sense that it reflects who we are, to that end, my greatest accomplishments regarding the job are carrying out someone else's wishes. On a more personal note, I also love having the time to listen to audio whilst I paint. My partner is Italian and I have been learning Italian through podcasts and radio stations for her.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always enjoyed being in control of how my work life operates and having built my own website and running my business for myself, I not only feel great pride but also a sense of construct, building and furthering of myself as a person and as a business.
Why should our clients choose you?
The reason clients should choose me is if they want that extra attention to detail. Many tradesmen have a tendency to rush and finish a job as soon as possible to get onto the next intake of cash. For me it is the opposite. A job rushed is not a job worth having. The way things are done in Germany is that the job takes as long as it takes to achieve perfection. Here in the UK everything is judged by time limit. If it takes extra time, I perform it at no extra cost to my client. I take pride in perfection and I always ensure that a job is performed to the best of my ability. If you want it done quick I'm not for you. If you want it done well, then call me.
