James listened carefully to my experiences, what I wanted to achieve (challenging muscles to help stabilise/correct imbalances whilst running) and then designed. accordingly.

I was particularly impressed by his working knowledge of biomechanics and recommendations for targeted exercises when discussing unrelated postural issues. And his incorporation of that into a regime.

Despite working out at 6am.on a.Monday morning, James made the time enjoyable and a great way to start the week.

By now (Nov 2019) James has been my PT for nearly one year. When I decided to start one-to-one PT sessions my goal was mainly aesthetic: I was aiming at gaining muscle mass and increase my upper body strength. James understood clearly my goal and tailored our sessions around it. After nearly a year of weekly workout, I can notice the clear improvement in muscle tone and strength. I have increase resilience and I start having the desired aesthetic improvements I was looking for. Also - unrelated to my PT sessions – this year I suffered an ankle injury. James helped me keep in shape by adjusting the routine so we could meet and workout even with my leg in a protective boot. He is always keen to motivate and push the sessions to a point when I am stimulated but at the same time he is careful and keeps absolute safety in the movements. I have been training with James for over an year and I have seen significant improvement in my strength and fitness levels over the same period. In addition to his in depth knowledge and experience with fitness training, the thing that makes him stand out is his emphasis on pre and post workout stretching to build and maintain body flexibility along with strength. After not having done any physical exercise for over 2 years due to illness, I was extremely apprehensive in choosing a new PT to get my fitness back on track. I was also suffering from some mental health issues because of my illness.
Im glad to say that James has been great in understanding my personal 'ailments' and is extremely supportive.
I have worked with James both in private PT sessions as well as working through programs at home that he personally designed for me.
His PT sessions are great, he has a very calming demeanour that I greatly appreciate, and a few hours after the session has finished I'm always feeling great.
Results have been varied for me mainly because of my personal commitment, but when I had a particular goal to lose weight before a big birthday everything fell in to place.
James is the ultimate professional and obviously knows his stuff, but he's also just a nice guy which I think is the most important thing.

After years of going to the gym and struggling to make any significant progress, James and his training plan completely changed my mindset about fitness- not to mention my entire body shape!
I’ve lost over a stone after James taught me how to ditch the long hours on the cardio machine and weird circuits I’d seen on Instagram for his personalised plan, and I’ve since fallen in love with training in the gym.
It’s had a positive affect on so many different aspects of my life. I have so much more energy and motivation these days, as well as feeling so much happier and more confident in my clothes, so many people point it out!

I have known James for a number of years and started working with him to improve an issue with my knee. We started using weights, which I had never done before. The results were amazing. My knee stopped hurting, I lost weight and toned up with dropping a dress size.
Since then James moved to London and I know train with him remotely. He using an app where he downloads workouts for me and I check in with my stats. It's a great service and he has so much knowledge which he passes on.

They should choose who they connect with best. You can find plenty of trainers who offer the same but what sets the average trainer and best trainers apart is they listen to their clients and are investing as much back into the client in order to get them closer to their goal.

Yes, I provide in-person and online training subscription services and remote sessions. Depending on what the client prefers and fits their goal will determine the best option.

In the early covid days we took safety precautions to reduce the chances of any infection. I wore the mask throughout the session and would insist the client did as well.
