The Masters in Organisation Consultancy-Systems:Psychodynamic Approach (2007). Trained by the internationally recognised centre of excellence for psychological practice, The Tavistock, London: Qualified and trained to work with Individuals, Group and Organisations/systems.

Working with whole systems fascinates Sarah and is in mind when meeting part of that system be it a group or individual.

Organisation Role Analysis is likened to better known executive coaching but available to everyone in all roles - leaders and followers. Meeting ONLINE via DOCTIFY secure Video link used by the NHS or Zoom. Phone is an option but video or face to face (as allowed) preferred.

Sarah has noticed that now, in this global crisis, we see the trend growing globally of demanding certainty. Leaders are asked to know, when in fact there are no clear facts, black and white. Sarah works with leaders to face these current dynamics to bring reality back while also optimising what is an incredibly creative and collaborative time. Supporting clients to remain sufficiently agile to build the new normal while holding boundaries, has been a key theme. Noticing and managing their own response to the world change another key theme.

Sarah believes work should be challenging but not painful, for long at least. Taking an approach that seeks to see and understand the positives and confusions/problems of the work, system, person and role. In noticing them, understanding emerges, what didn't make sense begins to which has an effect on oneself and those around. Helping clients to become stubborn optimists in what they truly believe in; resilient to challenge, while realistic about what is possible. Reality based thinking by working with the discomfort as much as the joy and successes, all make for a fulfilling working life. Working with practitioners, leaders, followers helping individuals who have public roles and taking up ones own authority and leadership in a way that influences the world around them helpfully.

Sarah keeps updated by attending international conferences as well as Tavistock Alumni. A member or International Society for the Psychoanalytic study of Organisations (ISPSO). Attending a two day virtual event with NIODA- National Institute for Organisation Dynamics, Australia. (2020) A psychodynamic evening understanding trauma and some meeting the author events from the Tavistock (2020) All this keeps Sarah current and she seeks courses and expert insights according to her client base.

Sarah undertakes regular supervision with a psychoanalyst who is also trained in this approach to organisations.

Sarah's other work includes being a CEO of an international training company, academic author and national lead for competency of a clinical skill. VeinTrain, her company won a showcase in 2018 at the World Innovation Summit for Health, Qatar. One of only 20 companies chosen due to having an innovation which can impact on healthcare globally.
