My wife and I have stayed at a few of the Vintage properties in Niagara with no issues,I can't say the same with my stay at the Millcroft this past weekend. I will continue to use the Vintage properties in the Niagara Region but won't be returning to the Millcroft. More...

Great afternoon tea in a great hotel in a great little town - Niagara on the Lake. Shannon our server was a delightful lady, the food was of very high standard and served on old silver cake stands. The peaches and cream tea was exceptional with enough for 7 cups. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you More...

We always love coming back to The Prince of Wales for some relaxation. From the beautiful rooms that allow us to step back in time and comfort to being in the heart of Niagara-on-the-lake and able to stroll and shop...we just love it all.

We stopped for a glass of wine since we were an hour early for our dinner reservations. Great service by Bob our server. Love the character of the space, classic charm. Would like to do dinner or my wife would like to bring her mother for tea. More...

Everything was amazing. Just disappointed in one thing and that is that there were dirty dishes outside our room and in the hallway we walk to the elevator from the time we checked in at 2pm until we left at 10am the next morning. Otherwise everyone was wonderful, service outstanding. I’d go back again. More...

We went to the bar to have lunch, food is usually really good but the service is bad. Waiters are not trained at all, it took ages to take our order, and then age to get the dessert menu and so on. .. We order a dessert that had gelate and they only brought forks... :/ the place is beautiful but noisy when busy. Prices are really fine. More...

We are here to celebrate our anniversary and attend theatre. Love the hotel, great ambiance, stellar service and pampering amenities. Our accommodations are luxurious and well maintained. Last night enjoyed al fresco dining and burger night . Tonight anticipating fine dining on premises. We were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine and a beautiful rose . The pool is warm and inviting with a pleasant view outdoors .
Would return in a heartbeat!

In the historic town of Niagara on the lake we decided a girls lunch would be ideal at the Prince of Wales hotel. We were not disappointed. We were greeted in a friendly manner, were seated right away, and our waitress was very helpful. Our waitress was dealing with a variety of customers. There was a table near us with a mother and a small girl having a ladies tea it was adorable. There was another table with an older man and possibly his older adult daughter. They were not very nice to the waitress and I was amazed at her patience. I'm sure by the time they left they also enjoyed their time due to her patience and perseverance. The smallest detail was beautiful. From the seating to the food. The quality was amazing. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are booking another reservation. For Christmas time. More...

The atmosphere for our weekend away was amazing. Was expecting to stay in main building, wasn't aware of multiple buildings, but the low traffic building was more ideal anyway. There was a wedding on the Saturday so the main building was high traffic. Our room was beautiful, 4 poster bed made it so luxurious. A little dusty around furnature legs. Enjoyed a couples massage in the spa and took advantage of the pool/sauna amenities. We didn't eat dinner on site, there are many restaurants on the main street, but did have afternoon tea in the beautiful drawing room before leaving to head home. Would definately stay at this chain again, at the pillar & post just outside town, or Prince of Wales in the winter just to see the winter decor. Only downside was the gift shop was very small, bedding to purchase, and art canvas. No emergency odds and ends and no Prince of Wales momentos, which many ppl collect in their travels. More...

My Dad came to visit from Toronto, so we took him here. We had a few drinks and snacks at the bar and my Dad couldn’t stop complimenting about this place. Our Bartender who is an older gentleman behind the bar on last Thursday afternoon was great and pleasant. We had moved into the neighbourhood a short time ago and definitely be back:) More...

My 23 yr old daughter and I made a spontaneous trip up from Buffalo on this chilly Saturday. Every single employee of the hotel moved mountains to service us. From early arrival snacks to finding us a couples massage opening and squeezing us into a fully booked high tea luncheon on the front patio tables. Everyone was delightful and sincere. We are simple folks. We never bullied, wined or begged for a single item. We kindly asked and each individual party responded respectfully and happily-they each asked us to wait a moment and returned with possibilities for us to ponder. We felt like royalty and enjoyed every minute of our get away Saturday at Niagara on the Lake. We have memories to last a lifetime. We will share our experience with everyone. Thank you Prince of Wales staff! See you again soon . More...

I went for my birthday weekend and had the most amazing time. They gave us complementary snacks and a handwritten card and a bottle of sparkling wine. They wrote happy birthday on my food in the restaurant. The place was absolutely beautiful and the pool was perfect. They even threw in flower petals and helped me carry my flowers down in a box to the car when we were leaving. Absolutely amazing service. I recommend it 100 percent. Thank you sooo much for the amazing birthday! More...

The Prince of Wales Hotel and Spa exceeded our expectations! We spent our last night in Canada there while celebrating our 35th anniversary. Our suite was ready by 2 and we were TOTALLY amazed at the beautiful bedding and decorations. We had the suite in the third floor on the corner of King and Main. The view from the window seats was stunning. We had a nice card and chocolates waiting for us commemorating our anniversary. The afternoon tea was elegant and delicious. When we came back from dinner our robes were laid out on the bed and there was a white rose on my pillow! This hotel wins the all time award for amenities, service and romance! We had room service for breakfast and it was delivered exactly when requested and was delicious! We can't wait to return and wish we could have stayed longer. More...

We loved this hotel! Great location and the staff is one of the best to accommodate your every need! We we're greeted with a smile and everything was taken care of the moment we stepped out of the car. ...

The hotel is charming...Stately....but in need of a refurb as things look old and tired and the lack of attention to detail in the rooms and surround halls is not up to the reputation of this hotel......old carpets, stains, shower and toilet not working right, coffee maker was broken....small things like this and when we returned late Friday night the maids cabinet was open upon entering the building. Things we're scattered about and a vacuum sitting in right in the hall. Dirty towels had been outside a guest room ALL day long!!

We will come back for the EXCELLENT staff but please take these comments into account and fix this gem!

Of course, the place is clean, and gorgeous. Food great, great place to stay. Lounge and dining room too small, no jacuzzi in the room, no pay to play wet bar in the room, room service stops at 11, and no buffet breakfast. I liked it, but I can get all that, and the other things I mentioned, for cheaper, a couple hundred yards away. More...
