This this the hottest spot in downtown Minneapolis that just opened. Located in the City center, corner of Hennepin and 6th.
The location is ideal and is connected via skyway to all major downtown locations including the US Bank Stadium.
The food is world class featuring prime steaks, oysters, Alaskan king crab legs, cold water Austrailian lobsters and fresh fish. There also an extensive sushi and Thai menu. In addition Prime 6 also features some terrific Medetarian dishes. Small plates and wood fired pizzas are offered at the bar as well.
The staff is polished, friendly and knowledgeable.
The space is very hip, kinda reminded of Las Vegas and South Beach Miami. This is the place to see and to be seen. A must visit spot in downtown Minneapolis.

My wife and I were so excited to hear of David and Alexus Koch opening Prime 6. We always feel like we're out of state at a fancy restaurant. The entire experience was outstanding, Friendly personable staff, attentive to every detail, wonderful large bar even when busy doesn't seem too crowded, great wine list to accompany any of your choices but this restaurant is all about the steaks the filet was 14 oz with a bone in a truly" melt-in-your-mouth" texture!
Atmosphere blew me away I felt at home and comfortable most of the deserts are House made, the bread is served with a creamy honey butter, (OMG)
This restaurant is a must go experience hope you love it as do I!

Absolutely Fabulous! We went for a birthday dinner with a party of 10 last night. We enjoyed amazing appetizers ( I love Calamari,it super light here) and everything was timely and warm. We came to celebrate my 1 yr. Anniversary of moving to Minneapolis and it was great! Staff was friendly, food and drinks were amazing! Oh the DJ was awesome! Prime 6 is the perfect spot downtown to have excellent drinks and food while taking in the sights and sounds of Minneapolis. Their patio is the perfect spot to do some people watching and enjoy an excellent meal. Our group had sushi and steak entrees and all were excellent.
