Primary Tuition

We used Liz to support our son whilst in lower school (year 2). The task was very much to shore up the basics and build confidence in his academic abilities. Liz gained our son’s trust and really helped him believe that things were achievable again.

Liz’s style is warm and professional providing a safe environment for children to ask those questions they may not feel comfortable asking in class.

Liz also managed to maintain the supportive and encouraging culture and way of working whilst conducting lessons on line which is no mean feat! My son skipped happily into the study each week.

I have three children and Liz tutored all of them for a year whilst at Junior School in Years 6, 6 and 5. As a result, they all approached Maths in High School confidentially and ably. My middle child in particular is one of the most mathematically competent in his school year. Liz was a reliable, punctual and friendly tutor and I was happy to welcome her into our home each week. Liz tutored my twin daughters through Years One and Two. They were struggling with speech and language in particular, although she did also help with maths. She is a lovely tutor. Liz worked with my daughter from mid way through year 4 until she took her sats in year 6, teaching both Maths and English. Her lessons were always fun and engaging and I was impressed with the materials she used and the structure and planning she gave to lessons. Above all my daughter enjoyed them and did well in her sats which is largely down to Liz’s interventions. We are now in the process of arranging for Liz to tutor our youngest daughter online to help fill a gap whilst schools are closed. More...
