Beautiful flowers! It was a small wedding so we just got a bouquet, corsage, and flower crown. Despite the small order, she took the time and attention to look over a few photos of what I like and did a spectacular job.

I live in CA and wanted to send flowers to my mom in CO for her birthday. Found Pretty Petals online and took a chance. Glad I did! The flowers were gorgeous and were delivered on time. My daughter was just married at Hudson Gardens and Pretty Petals did the flowers. The wedding was in the Rose Garden, and as the venue was gardens, it seemed that flowers were mostly superfluous. Nonetheless, bouquets for the bride and bridesmaids, corsages and boutonnieres, were lovely, fresh and delivered right on time. And, at a much lower cost than any other florist we found. What's not to like about good and friendly service, high quality and very competitive prices.And as a favor to Yelpers, here are the other service providers who also made this a perfect day for my daughter, son-in-law and our families:Hudson Gardens (the Rose Garden) - 5 stars. What a lovely venue for an outdoor, summer wedding! Access is easy and there is abundant parking. The gardens are beautiful, the grounds are meticulously manicured, and the staff are helpful and friendly.Biscuits and Berries Catering - 5 stars - the food was excellent as were the hard-working staff who clearly went some extra miles to be sure everyone was taken care of and everything was special.Peak Beverage - 5 stars - purveyor of soft drinks and adult beverages. Like the caterer, Peak's staff were wonderful and clearly went extra miles to be sure that everything was special.Classic Photographers (Dmitriy K) - 5 stars - Dmitriy was our main photographer but they also deployed a second photographer for the ceremony itself so that events could be captured from multiple perspectives. Very professional and at the same time very efficient. Remarkably accommodating - in addition to the usual suite of wedding photographs, Dmitriy shot every cluster and cohort of individuals,  families and attendees requested of him.A Music Plus - 5 stars - we had an excellent DJ who handled and accommodated all requests in terms of the processionals, recessional, first dance and reception.Understand that nothing about a wedding is inexpensive. On the other hand, you can't put a price tag on some things and you don't mind paying for quality. My family wanted to send Happy birthday to our 99 year old aunt and decided to use Pretty Petals. We ordered the Tropical Breeze bouquet thinking it was different and looked beautiful. Emilie and her daughter called when they arrived gushing about how beautiful and amazing these flowers are. They are printing pictures for the family because they are so thrilled. I'm in California and needed to send flowers to a friend in Littleton.  I read the reviews here and decided to order the "Lucy" arrangement.  I also upgraded to "Deluxe" so with delivery, the cost was $100.78.  My friend loved the arrangement and sent me a photo.  Everything looked super fresh (roses, Gerbera daisies, and assorted filler flowers).  I prefer to use a local florist rather than a national chain and Pretty Petals turned out to be a good choice. I can't say enough good things about Barb, and the AMAZING job she did on all the flowers for my wedding. Barb makes this part of wedding planning absolutely effortless. What is truly impressive, is Barb knows her business and she know herself and her terms of operating most efficiently. I had one very nice and efficient meeting with her, and she took care of the rest. Not only did she remember every detail of what I wanted, the quality of the flowers were top notch. The flowers for my wedding came out absolutely GORGEOUS! I loved loved loved my bouquet! Barb's prices are really affordable and she does fantastic work! With that said though, her communication is a little slow and there were times I emailed her and she was completely unresponsive. This will be short and sweet because this whole experience was as such.  I arrived in the area, just on a visit, and felt the great desire to make someones day.  On that note, I jumped on Yelp and looked for a local florist to help me make that so.  To be honest, I was looking for a place that I could just walk in, grab a pre-made thing, be on my way out and look pretty cool.  I chose this place based on the high reviews and some pictures.  I liked what I saw and read.    So I went about looking for this place.  I Google map'd it and was on my way.  I followed the instructions and...passed it. Turned around and passed it again. It was then I realized I didn't know what the hell I was looking for.  So, I parked, got out and wandered the street it was on, like a crazy person.  I may have walked up to another person's house. I claim nor deny nothing.  They had nice furniture.  So I decided to use they other use of my smartphone: The phone part.  I called the business and went about the awkward task of asking a few questions that just screamed I had no idea what I was doing. I asked if there was a display room, if there was anything ready-made, and where the hell I was goin! She said there was no display room or anything pre-made.  The store was actually in her garage.  That garage was in the house next to the one I was in front of and, may or may not have, stood at the door for way too long without knocking.    I went over and, sure enough, there was a garage full of flower clippings, boxes, vases, bows, ribbons, work areas and a small TV playing soap operas.  I walked in and informed her I was the one who called and admitted I really went out on a limb with this and asked her what she had.  It was then we began to construct an original piece from what she had left.  It was closing time and she was shutting down for the weekend so the supply was limited, according to her.  Well what she was limited to was exactly what I was feeling.  She gave me options and recommendations and we went about piecing together my own lil work of art.  In a few minutes we had created some that was amazing to look at.  It was better than anything I could have found, pre-made, and I had the warm feeling of knowing I created this, just for someone special. She put it all in a nice vase and wrapped it in a bow and, before you knew it, I was out the garage and on my way.  The cost was very satisfactory and the experience was worth every cent.  Tack on the smile it created, from the recipient, and I can say this was the best choice I could have ever made, in terms of finding a florist on short short notice.    While I don't recommend doing it the way I did it, nor loitering around a random house for a few minutes, I have zero hesitation recommending this place to any and all, for their floral needs, no matter what the occasion is. I ordered the "Joey" arrangement from Pretty Petals online, the day before my friend was supposed to give birth at a hospital in Littleton. Not long after, Barb called me to verify the address and even said she could get it delivered that day! I didn't need that, as my friend wasn't at the hospital yet, but wow! What service!! Things got complicated when the day of delivery I learned early in the morning that my friend was having to change hospitals, to one in Lone Tree. I called the shop, and Barb was very helpful and got the address changed. She was honest and admitted that she wasn't as familiar with that hospital but that it would get taken care of, and she totally came through! The flowers got to my friend at the correct place, and looked beautiful! Perfect for celebrating the birth of their little boy! I called Pretty Petals about a month ago for my mothers birthday. Living out of town, it's hard to find a florist to trust without seeing the flowers in person first. But after seeing photos and reading reviews here, I called Barb. And I couldn't be happier that I did! She was polite and friendly and amazingly creative- I told her mom likes sunflowers and instructed her to use her best judgement to put together something that would go with those. I recently ordered roses to be sent to a relative in Colorado; as I'm on the east coast, I looked for a Denver-area florist.  Pretty Petals had good reviews.  They certainly deserve them.  An hour after ordering online, the owner called to say that the available roses in the color I'd selected was not up to their standards.  We went over the pros and cons of the other available colors, and I made a selection.  I've since heard that the roses that arrived were very beautiful.  Their honesty certainly results in repeat customers and great word-of-mouth! Barb was our wedding florist and we could not have been happier! Having met with several other florists prior to meeting with Barb, I was worried I would have to make my own floral centerpieces due to cost. I was in love with garden roses (super expensive) but open to more affordable options. Other florists just couldn't think outside of the flowers that were literally in my inspiration photos, quoting me triple my budget without providing alternatives. When I met with Barb, I knew she was the perfect florist for us! She looked at my inspiration photos of bouquets and centerpieces and came up with perfect and more affordable alternatives (we could keep the hydrangeas and a few ranunculus, but would use Fado roses instead of the garden variety in order to stay within budget). When she delivered the flowers on the day of the wedding, I was blown away. All of the flowers were stunning and Barb perfectly delivered my floral vision, but within my budget. She even got the color of the flowers to be so perfect that they matched the bridesmaids dresses exactly. I recommend Pretty Petals to anyone who is planning a wedding. More...

Barb at Pretty Petals is a fantastic florist from the first meeting to the delivery of our wedding flowers at the venue. She helped shape my vague idea of fall colors flowers into a gorgeous collection of ceremony side pieces, reception centerpieces and personal flowers. She was flexible and worked with my mother and a florist on the Big Island, who sent special protea from the Big Island. She worked these blooms into the design to complement the flowers already selected. She created truly amazing bouquets for me as the bride, my maid of honor and for the toss bouquet that received compliments from every guest. Barb did very simple flower arrangements for my bridesmaids and for the tables at my wedding. They were beautiful though and I made about 3-4 changes in the few months before my wedding but Barb was flexible and easy to work with. The only time I wasn't impressed was the 3 week deadline before the wedding I had forgotten amongst all the other million things I was doing to send her the final payment and when I called her to arrange a time to drop off my vases she scolded me and was sort of angry. I apologized and paid right away but couldn't believe she'd be so rude when I was hiring her and the amount of money was very small. I'd recommend her though as her pricing isn't crazy and she seems to be pretty creative and easy to create up-to-date arrangements. More...
