Had a complete new roof and two velux window on our 1920's bungalow. We wanted it to look original so Spanish slate was our choice. It looks so good we are really pleased. The team of workers were brilliant,turning up on time each day and cleaning up at home time.We were also kept well informed with regards to progress and site visited regularly.The team even managed to solve a problem on our garage roof that had leaked for two years ,the job having been botched by dodgy builder. In September 2019 we had our kitchen roof replaced, guttering around the side of our house, and a chimney pot repaired. After our instruction to proceed was given, the work started very quickly, and only took a couple of days to complete. The scaffolding went up, skip delivered, materials dropped off and work done in a friendly, professional and very tidy manner. We contacted a few companies for a new main roof and with the experience I have with roofing myself i knew what I was talking about (Unable to do the work due to personal issues) Lets just say I was very happy from start to finish. The sales rep really knew everything when it came to the roof and gave some great explanations and recommendations on what needs doing so we gave them the go ahead to do the work. Friendly and professional staff explained the process and were able to show examples of the materials and previous work. Once a price was agreed they were quick to send out a surveyor and we were able to have the work done within a week! On the day of the job the fitter was efficient and thorough, happy to answer questions and explain what he was doing, and did a great job clearing up after himself. I required a complete roof replacement after leaks in recent heavy rain .I chose Prestige having read previous reviews and liaising with on site rep. After agreeing a price and start date work was initiated with the construction of the access scaffold which was completed on the day agreed.The roofing gang of Steve,Dave and Larry completed the felt/tiling within a week very successfully,they are a very competent gang.Overall I am very satisfied with the work carried out and would recommend this company to anyone who requires this type of work.I would also like to mention Steve at the main office who arranged and liaised the whole project. Initial contact was made by me and I was happy with the representative who called to assess the job. Price was higher than expected but I was satisfied with the quality of the samples he showed me so I accepted the quotation. On the day of the job the guys turned up on time but due to inclement weather could not start. I received a very courteous phone call rearranging the installation for the next day.This time the weather was perfect and the guys started the job. In no time at all they had finished and cleaned up the inevitable mess.There was a follow up later that evening supposedly to check the work that was done but I did suspect that he was more of a salesman because he did try to set up me having a further quote for more work which I declined having spent quite enough for the time being.All in all a good service.
