Loved the atmosphere. Historic venue in historic downtown Willoughby. Very nice and completely patient server. I had the fish special Walleye with citrus risotto. It was good, risotto too rich but almost always the case for me with risotto but don't always resist Lol. Next visit I'll order from the extensive regular Italian menu. This. place. is. fantastic. Bit of a wait on a summer Friday evening because of a large rehearsal dinner, but staff was all friendly despite how busy they were. Several wine by the glass options and excellent marinara on great meatball appetizer. The house foccacia was flatbread style and intensely aromatic. We were very impressed with the bread and house-made pappardelle. Frutti di Mare featured fresh, fresh seafood and plenty of it and chicke marsala was cooked just right. Fun lil' patio in the back where you can see the action by the massive pizza oven too. Love it! Hands down the best Italian on the east side of Cleveland. The food is beyond amazing, every time. I would suggest asking for Darryl if you go. ..he provides amazing service and knows their food incredibly well. It does get a bit cramped inside, so if you can snag a seat on the patio I would. I've been here a few times but it has been a while. Their food is very good and they have a great selection on the menu. The staff are very friendly and have answers for all of your questions.
