My son has been going for nearly 2 years and he really enjoys training.
Mat has been great with accomodating for my son's medical conditions and it's nice to see everyone treated as individuals.
Sunday training sessions are very family orientated, all ages and grades train together and help each other in a really friendly atmosphere.

Q&As

I love helping kids to gain in confidence, and I love seeing adults who had given up on sports and fitness discover that whatever their age and fitness level, it's quite possible to regain what they have lost, and discovering it's fun too.
But most of all, I love seeing students in the club bonding with each other as they all push themselves to become fitter and more confident.
Nothing makes greater friends than people you train with! :-)

I have always been extremely sporty, and I taught free for another club for 13 years. I was convinced that I could put together a more useful syllabus than they had, and I felt that I deserved the reward for my efforts.

Because I care about them and their kids. Because I genuinely want to help them. Because I think deeply about the nature of violence in the world - I don't simply parrot dogma passed on from coach to coach. And most of all, because they will be warmly welcomed to our friendly club no matter what their fitness level or experience.
