Highly recommend this group if you are looking a pet. the application process is in the animals best interest and the staff really cares. They take the time to listen to what the adopter is looking for and match them up. We filled out the app yesterday and got the phone call last night we were approved. picked up Jake this morning. They want to make sure the adopter will take care of the animal and have a regular vet to give the required vaccines and preventative care. Animals should be cared for like children. Baby Delta has been handed over to the AWS as this poor baby girl was found outside my home, under the hood of my car. Over the few hours I had her we bonded, but for her best interest I knew she needed a home that allowed her to have full attention and love. The AWS were awesome individuals who could tell I was having a hard time handing her over, but reassured me she will be well taken care of and well loved. I recently adopted my kitty from AWS! The process was simple; meet the animals, fill out an application for the ones you’re interested in, then AWS reviews all applications and finds the best fit. I knew within 2 days whether I was approved and was able to pick her up immediately! She is super cuddly, sweet, and a perfect addition to my family. She also loves boxes, so thankfully there’s no lasting impact from how she was dropped off at the shelter! When I adopted Jazz on March 15 and took him to the vet 3 days after I adopted him, I found out from the vet that he needs corrective eye surgery, he has a corneal ulceration, and mange. The corrective surgery he had in January (while he was still in the care of Oakland county animal shelter)had not been followed up on by the animal welfare society. Had the animal welfare society done that, they would have found out his eyes were still not fixed and also ulcerated. It should have been handled to keep him pain free at the very least. Also they would have known he had mange and was in pain from his corneal ulceration. More...

What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE the end result when the owner and their dog are working great together and everybody is happy...it makes all the time and training so worth it to me. My goal is to always have a happy owner and pet!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I LOVE dog training, it is my passion..
Helping people and there dogs is what makes it all worth it...starting my own training business just developed over time. I got an opportunity to rent some space and that's how it was born.

Well I believe all of my clients would say that I'm great at what I do. I Love dogs and dog behavior..and I care, I really care about what happens with my Clients and their dogs.
