We had PQ Event Caterer provide our food at our staff Summer Party. So friendly and helpful during the organising stage. ..nothing was too much trouble even when we kept changing our mind. We had three paella dishes, meat, seafood and vegetarian, they all smelt gorgeous while they were cooking and they looked and tasted amazing. We booked Peter as a private chef for a group of 9. It was absolutely amazing. We would love to do it every weekend. He was so helpful from first contact with excellent communication and flexible with the menu (which was fabulous). On the night the food and service were outstanding. Peter catered for my best friends hen party and he was amazing!! He came to our holiday cottage and cooked the most amazing food for us, that was after laying the table like we were in a 5 star hotel! Served the food and cleared away everything! Peter, I can't thank you enough for your wonderful food and service for my Hen Do 'night in'! You created a fantastic menu and we weren't an easy bunch to cater for! We had 2 vegetarians and someone with Coeliac Disease and a Dairy Intolerance in our party of 9. You made adjustments to the menu with ease and so quickly. They all looked incredibly similar despite knowing that several were different.

My maid of Honour had a nightmare time with being messed around by other people and companies during the week we were actually coming down to Cornwall and yet with only 2 days before we arrived and 5 before we wanted the meal, you happily took on the challenge.

The food was absolutely superb and has been the talk of the weekend! We felt completely at ease in your presence and made us laugh too (which is always a bonus). You never rushed us to finish and it didn't feel like you were hovering either. You set up the dining table, told us exactly what you had done and what we had on our plates and then took everything away with you at the end.....we had absolutely nothing to do. An extremely relaxing and delightful evening.

So Thank You once again and we can't recommend you enough!

Peter cooked a special celebration meal for our family to celebrate our Dad's 80th birthday. From the minute Peter arrived he really looked after us from keeping us well topped up with drinks to preparing a delicious meal. A fantastic evening - thank you!

From the initial email to peter right through the end of the meal, I can't speak highly enough of Peter. Incredibly professional throughout, the meal cooked by Peter way exceeded our expectations. Even with the chaos and interruption of three 3 year olds and a 4 month old, every single course was a real treat (just for anyone looking to book PQ catering, the triple cooked roast potatoes are well worth requesting – THE BEST roasties ever!). From start to finish I could not fault the service from PQ Event catering. I actually didn't meet Peter until the day of the event - my 50th birthday. All contact was either by phone or email. On the day, Peter arrived on time with his small team and just got on with what he does so well. We didn't actually notice them on site until the food was served in the evening! Our meal was absolutely superb - presentation just beautiful, food hot, and it tasted amazing. All I kept hearing was "wow" and seeing the shear delight and surprise on my guests faces made my evening. Everything was cleared and put away - again without knowing of their presence, and left spotlessly clean. Peter then catered again the next day with a paella - well what can I say! He had set a standard the night before and had something to live up to! He didn't disappoint and it was truly amazing - everyone commented on how it looked and how it tasted! I wouldn't hesitate to have Peter cater for me again or recommend him and his team to come and cater for you! Book early!!!!! More...

Amazing food, amazing service by amazing people.

Absolutely astounding is an understatement when describing the meal Peter provided for us recently.
The whole evening ran like clockwork and the food was was six star.
To take time away from his prep work to come and explain the courses and the sources of ingredients was a real bonus.
Peter was a total professional from start to finish and I swear the kitchen was cleaner when he left than when he arrived.
With service and food like that why would you want to eat out!

Pete is an extremely flexible caterer who couldn't do enough to help make our event a special one. The food was tailored to our needs & great in flavour. We had a fantastic evening.

A first class service. Everything taken care of and left in a neat and tidy order. This was a difficult day being my husband's funeral. I would recommend you to anyone.
