Paul is quite simply an excellent electrician, reliable, punctual and honest. Once he gives you a quote for the work, that's it, there are no hidden add -ons . He has a professional attitude to his work and give regular updates on his progress. He achieved what I though was impossible because my last electrician had given up on the job saying he couldn't work out the problem. His work is clean and tidy. I recently had the good fortune of having Paul and Paul undertake a series of electrical work for me, after receiving a glowing recommendation. At the estimate stage, they offered good advice and alternative high technology alternatives (That I was not aware of)They arrived promptly and were exceedingly friendly, as the day progressed working quickly, quietly and efficiently, they answered all my further questions and queries as the work progressed, even up to the point of installation. They offered other concepts to ideas to meet my goals, these ideas I accepted and they showed no grumbles in having to go to Cambridge to fetch my alternative electrical equipment to meet my needs. Paul and Paul quickly responded to my quote request. They arrived on time when they popped around to go through the work that I needed to be carried out (add 3 sockets to the kitchen). After doing a quick check they explained why one of the extension to my sockets would have been trickier than I anticipated.Work was done professionally, and they emailed me some paperwork certifying the alterations made to my sockets, which is handy when you need to sell/rent out the property.Paul and Paul were knowledgeable and courteous. The two Pauls have done two jobs for us in the last two years. New electric shower (with new supply), new consumer unit, and bathroom extractor fan the first time. New lights in kitchen, bathroom and living room just recently. Complete with all the relevant certificates. My wife and I definitely recommend them. Their work is to a very high standard, they are very conscientious, and clearly very knowledgeable on electrical regulations. Their prices are very competitive.
