I was so happy with the service I received from Bill Powers that, even though I went with a different firm, I wanted to post this review. Mr. Powers quoted a kitchen redesign for a modest house. His attention to detail, his eye for design and ability to explain the processes and features was incredible. Highly recommend. More...

Powers D&B provided very good service. At the top of my list is responsiveness and easy access via email and phone. PD&B was excellent in this regard. If I sent a question via email, I usually had an answer within 30 min. Also, our complete condo remodel turned out just as we had imagined and within the promised time frame so we were very satisfied with the end result. Also, at the time of our remodel, we weren't sure how long we would live in this condo, so we wanted to keep our costs reasonable and PD&B helped us accomplish this. I have recommended PD&B to friends and other residents in our building. More...

My first encounter with Bill Powers Design was when I purchased my current home in 2001. The previous owners had updated the kitchen and downstairs living area using Bill’s services. I loved the design and all aspects of the update. In 2003, I used Powers Design and Build for a master bath addition, as well as a re-design of the master bedroom and master closet. Bill was there every step of the way, from the initial design all the way to the finishing touch of fabric choices. His work crews were reliable and respectful. Bill was helpful in keeping us on budget, and the project was finished in the timeline he projected. I was extremely pleased with the end result, and 10+ years later, I am still enjoying the added-on space. In 2009 I consulted Powers Design and Build services to help complete an unfinished back yard project. Once again, Bill was able to help achieve a beautiful end result. In 2011, Powers Design and Build did a complete exterior makeover of my home, giving it a much-needed update and the curb appeal I was looking for, all which came from Bill’s creative mind and perfect design. As evidenced by my repeated use of Powers Design and Build, I would highly recommend his services for any of your home project desires. More...

This review is from Lori Daugherty and Bill Powers has worked on my 1920's home on 3 different occasions for large remodeling projects: an entire kitchen remodel, an attic was converted to a bathroom, bedroom, game room and storage areas, and recently he built a new pool room and gorgeous pool. He always has great workable ideas so he's much more than just a construction company. I have always had great experiences with Bill and his workers. I would highly recommend Bill and will use him again when the opportunity presents itself at my home. This review is from Steve Daugherty. Bill was recommended to me in the early '90's by a guy with Transok, that complimented the work Bill had done. Using him to knock out 3 walls on a ranch style house kitchen project was a cinch for him. It made that house much more open and wonderful. The next project was in Historic Tulsa home that was built in '28. Preserving the integrity and adding value, every dollar was spent wisely in a great refurb noted above by Lori. More recently, I bought a house close to Philbrook but before I bought it, Bill advised me on other potential homes to help me hone a good remodel possibility. His understanding of structure and "bang for the buck" helped me decide on which had more potential. I am glad I did. For this 1930 home, we added 1,000 square feet, moved 4 walls, changed out dozens of appliances, added floors, air systems, water and sewerage lines, etc., Bill kept me advised as to every detail in what was transpiring, why, and what the costs were...We had multiple meetings on budget items and kept costs in check. More importantly, my home was cared for and remodeled by a stellar cast of carpenters and work crew that not only were careful, but cleaned up their messes (Bill made sure of that), did not steal anything, and were very trustworthy in their work detail - no shortcuts. His workers' attention to detail in all respects, including very tricky crown moulding was nothing short of intensely precise. Can you get someone to quote cheaper? Probably. Someone to quote higher? Definitely. Bill's pricing is reasonable and the installation (as in windows that need a high degree of expertise on the install) was over the top. Thanks Bill, for the chance to finally offer praise on a project that continues to make me smile each day. More...

Bill and crew have done all the renovation work on both our homes: 1 – the 1927 house where I grew up in Maple Ridge, and 2 – our current 1950’s house. There are many contractors that do quality work, but few have Bill’s wonderful design ability and sense of humor: a winning combination when you’re working on renovation projects. His crews are top notch. They show up when they say they will or call if there’s a problem, clean up the work area daily before they leave, and do outstanding work. We hit a couple of problems on our last renovation, and Roy Norris came up with a solution to each and every one of them. Do we recommend Powers Design & Build? You bet we do. More...

I have known Bill and his company for 25 years. He has done 4 projects for my family, the last being a very large and detailed restoration of a 1930's historic home in the Philbrook area. I have probably spent nearly $750,000 dollars with Bill. I cannot say enough good about Bill and his guys. I did the last project without going through the detailed cost estimating process because of the level of trust I have with Bill.

His word is 100% good and you can count on him to do what he says and to do it on time. If he warns you about an idea, listen to him - he knows his business.

Every dollar I have spent with Bill has been an investment and well spent. I would recommend him to anyone without reservations.
