First time in the Mecca...I'll be honest it made me feel like I was back in the military in a overseas base gym...that's good and bad. ..lots of good equipment...not used to not dropping weights (solid dumbbells til failure will cause gravity to get real) but ok...3 tiered dumbbell racks got a bit scary when this smaller dude tried to pull a 50lb and almost buried himself. Love the big boy dumbbells!!! The area around the treadmills is very tight...stepped out of a seat shoulder press and dude was picking up his water bottle after using the machine next to me and I accidentally elbowed him in shoulder pretty good...but the lower deck area is a sick fucking room...heavy machines and heavy shit everywhere...very cool!!! Overall 4 outta 5...also the leg day reserved parking area was also very cool. More...

Out of town and needed a place to work out...I am not a Planet Fitness or one of those big box gym type of guys so this place worked perfectly for me. ..it’s not air conditioned but I think it makes for a better workout..the weights are mixed so finding matching weights was a bit of a challenge but not a big deal. Staff was friendly. I will be back next time I am in town. More...

Ok I got out of lifting years ago because it consumed my life in my early years but getting back into the lifestyle has been so easy to do with Metroflex. The owner John has surrounded himself with an amazing group of people and together they have created a great platform for literally any walk of life to lift heavy and to be well. Great group of clients as well as everyone I've met so far help push this gym to the next level. Very inspiring.
