Super busy at lunch, but super quick and super good. Popped in for a quick lunch with a friend and watched the line fill up while I waited for him to arrive. The staff was friendly and efficient, the food prepared quickly and the line dwindled to almost nothing by the time we queued up.I had the tuna sandwich, which, albeit somewhat boring is my go to first taste for most places. I was not disappointed. The tuna was flavorful and with the right balance of mayonnaise. Â That coupled with a cookie for dessert and I was a good to go. It's good. Not eaeth-shattering fantastic, but good. I went with colleagues during the lunch rush, so we had to wait in a line, but like all Potbelly's, this store keeps the line from interfering with the door or seating. There isn't much seating at this location, with only a couple tables and rail bar seating the length of the narrow shop. I got a classic turkey sandwich, so nothing special, but the bread was toasted to a pleasant crunch and the cheese was hot and melted. It's exactly what I wanted, so again, good.If you've never been to a Potbelly's: you make your basic sandwich order from the menu. After that, if you have something that gets toasted, then you tell the person behind the counter what veggies, sauces/oil/seasoning you want. The place was clean The decor has a great deal of NC details on the decor and it was very relaxing colors The turkey sandwich comes with what looks like chopped turkey meat, not deli meat.The toppings for the Mediterranean were delicious I add balsamic dressing to my sandwich as well as avocados (it's about a dollar surcharge and change upcharge)You can make it a combo with chips and a drinkThey have pickles but they are too soft for me they do n't have enough crisp for my liking. I did like the taste they seem homemade.The vegetable soup reminded me of Brunswick stew without the beef and okra. The soup had a delicious taste.The potato soup has a bacon flavor to it. This is easy to miss but well worth a stop. Sandwiches are quick and tasty and the service is friendly. It is similar to a Jimmy Johns or Subway with better sandwiches and a more local feel to it (at least the Locust one does). I ordered the Farmhouse Salad and the Turkey Club Sandwich. Â The servings were generous. Â The salad was cold and crisp, everything was fresh and not wilted, the ingredients and the salad dressing were excellent. I was pleasantly surprised with the Turkey Club Sandwich. Â The bread was hot and freshly toasted, and the sandwich was delicious. The quality of the chicken was top notch. I loved that the pickles were thinly sliced and cold. Love their veggie sandwhiches! And the BLT is bomb! The workers are always so nice when you go in to order, and I've never had a bad experience here. I wish it was a little cheaper, but it's so good that I'll suck it up and pay a little more for a good meal. The chili, soups and Mac and cheese are tasty and the dream bar gets me every time! Heard about this place when their ad popped up on my Facebook page. The place surprisingly wasn't that busy considering it is in the UVa area and it is still fairly new. I ordered the Turkey breast sub. The bread was toasted almost perfectly and the sub tasted great overall. The chocolate cookie also tasted great. The food there definitely was worth the $15. I could have sworn I've done a review for here... This is the only place that once that first bite is taken, I become a different person. I'm don't talk, I ignore whats around me. It's just me and the sandwich having a moment. If you've ever seen Harold and Kumar go to white castle and at the end of the movie they finally get to eat what they have been craving, it's like that each and every time I come. Ever try to take a bone away from a dog and have it snap at you? I do just that. You may read this and think I'm exaggerating but I love this spot insanely a lot. I always get A wreck double meat with bacon... *drooling*. So freakin good. Oh and the staff, always on point, even when it's busy inside, cars lined up, they seem to all enjoy their job. Stopped here for a meal while visiting during the Chicago Marathon. I had never been here and I asked one of the employees was great to make recommendations when I asked several questions about the products served. I ended up ordering a pick 2 where I ordered a half sandwich and a soup. The food was delicious. My only reason for not giving a 5 star is because this restaurant has their large trash bins inside of the restaurant. Although they're in the rear of the restaurant  y the restrooms, they were leaking, leaving a bad smell and sticky floor by the restrooms. Not a good thing to have them at the customers view. My new favorite spot to get a yummy sandwich when I visit Seattle! I'm not one that usually eats sandwiches,& when I do it is far from where I live/work so I usually end up getting a sandwich from somewhere that isn't impressive! My man saw this place and said he had had it when he visited his friend In Virginia! He raved about it when he saw it was here. He ordered a plain turkey sandwich in wheat bread, & said it was delicious. I took a bite....& the rest is history!!!! I bought one myself but with all the fixings! This place is just WOW!!! Quality food & exceptional service! Even if the sandwich wasn't as delicious as it was I would come back just because of the customer service! VERY impressed. Went in as a quick choice for lunch. I literally expected the food to be #basic at first glance. I decided to play it safe and order a Mediterranean themed sandwich (Hummus and Cucumber with Feta). When I sat down to eat the sandwich I was BLOWN AWAY. I remember this particular location having better service but it has been a while. There is indoor seating and a few tables out front in the fairly nice location of The Rio in Gaithersburg. There is also a lake with benches about a 15 second walk behind the building. I don't frequent Potbelly often, but I do know what's good when I'm up for it. I decided on an Italian for this visit, which would have been amazing had I not forgot to ask for mayo (was very dry, and I was very sad). I love potbelly because I love their treats. The milkshakes bang. But I was in the mood for the oatmeal chocolate chip mini cookies. They come in an overpriced bag of two, but every time I've come in the past, they have a big bag filled with a good amount. There were no big bags, and when I inquired, I was simply told that they hadn't made any that day. So I got a 2 pack, and both were stale. Big disappointment. This is the best sandwich I've had. Great affordable pricing at $9 for a large sandwich. Shakes are great as well but above all amazing service! Our food came out about 2 minutes slower and we were given two free desserts. Great staff and amazing food compared to shops on the ocean, very overpriced. I really like the soups here. I've tried their chicken pot pie as well the chili. Slightly overpriced for a lil cup that isn't filled to the top but the food is tasty.
