Andrew is great to work with and is a photographer who will go above and beyond is extremely dependable and willing to travel. He drove 3 hours to capture our special day and even worked past midnight to get a beautiful photo up on Facebook that day! We decided to hire Andrew after I met him at my friend's wedding. Deciding on our wedding photographer became easy between his beautiful photos and his laid back personality. Andrew has a charm about him that makes him likeable and approachable. Between our engagement shoot and our wedding he was always able to capture me and my husbands most authentic selves. He always made us feel comfortable and was receptive to the ideas we brought to both shoots. My husband hates being photographed but you would never know based on the incredible moments Andrew was able to capture. And if taking beautiful photos wasn't enough Andrew is professional, quick to get back to you and has very reasonable prices. I really cannot say enough great things about Andrew Davis! He shot our wedding in September and did a phenomenal job! Not only was he extremely professional and timely, but his pictures are stunning and creative. The photography was something that was really important to my husband and I, as we wanted all of our special moments captured to look back on throughout the years. Andrew did an excellent job capturing all of those special moments and some great funny candid photos as well. The different angles and techniques he uses are artistic and exceptional. We opted to get the photo booth also and it was a huge hit! The guests loved it and the pictures are hilarious! My husband and I got married at the Bar Harbor Inn this July, and we could not have been happier with the decision to use Andrew as our photographer! Even though he was based three hours away in Freeport, he was more than willing to travel to our location. We also knew we wanted photos inside Acadia National Park, but knew we wouldn't have time on the day of the wedding. Andrew was so accommodating and suggested a next day photo shoot in the park. We had a very small and intimate ceremony and reception with less than 20 people. All of our guests commented on how professional and friendly Andrew and his lovely assistant (wife Megan) were. He captured all of our most important moments, without being intrusive at all. He was very committed to getting that perfect shot every time, even scaling the building to takes pictures from the roof! The next day in the park was even better. We started our shoot a couple of hours before sunset, the plan being to end on top of Cadillac mountain just as the sun was setting. Andrew and Megan brought us to Sand Beach, Otter Cliffs, and Jordan Pond before we headed up to the summit of the mountain. Unfortunately, when we reached the top, it was completely blanketed in thick fog, but this did not deter Andrew. We jumped back in our cars and quite literally chased the sun down the mountain, jumping out whenever Andrew found an ideal spot, and got in as many shots as he could before jumping back in our cars and finding the next spot. It was quite an experience, running around the park in a wedding dress with my new husband. We really had so much fun, we weren't even thinking about what the pictures would look like. When we got a glimpse of our first photos, we were completely blown away. He far exceeded every expectation we had. And we did not have to wait long to see either. I think he sent us our first few preview shots the very next morning, and 50 or so more were posted on Facebook just a few days later! I am still getting compliments on my wedding photos, sometimes from people I don't even know who saw them on Facebook and were so impressed they just had to tell me. I cannot find enough good things to say about Andrew Davis Photography. And his fee is VERY reasonable, especially when compared to some other photographers' prices. My husband and I can not recommend Andrew Davis's photography more highly. He does fabulous work! Andrew photographed our wedding in Camden, Me last August, and the shots he got are beautiful and unforgettable. He is dependable, responsible, and he was always great at getting back to us when we had questions. He loves and cares about his work, and it shows in his shots. I would recommend him to anyone I know without question. As part of his package, he also sent us a wedding album that blew us away. He is fun, easy to work with, and professional.
