Portrait Gallery was fantastic! Geoff did our photos and they were perfect. He was well organized and super easy to communicate with. My husband and I got married at Shelburne Vineyard, and Geoff had a few lovely locations picked out for us to do photos nearby before our ceremony. He was also familiar with the venue and captured fabulous photos of the entire evening. We would absolutely work with Portrait Gallery again and very highly recommend them. Portrait Gallery was the perfect photography and videography choice for our big day. Geoff, Wendy and Don were all fantastic the day of the wedding, and Geoff was particularly helpful during the planning process prior to the big day. We planned our wedding in about 6 months from 1,000 miles away, and Geoff was also so easy to communicate and plan with, and he was incredible flexible as plans continued to change or times were updated. Portrait Gallery was awesome! Geoff McLoughlin took a wide range of photos at multiple locations and they came out perfectly. Geoff is also very engaging with our guests -- encouraging them to smile and look good for the photos. My wife and I got married at Shelburne Vineyard. Geoff picked out some great photo locations on the beach and haybales in a field. We also took photos along a really cool looking fence. Geoff was well organized and communicated with both us and the other vendors. We would absolutely work with Portrait Gallery in the future. Thom and Geoff are absolutely amazing! We could not have asked for a better photographer for our day. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He was open to any ideas/requests we had. He even learned the names of our wedding party/family. Our flower girls were not cooperative for formal pictures but Thom never missed a beat interacting with them and taking gorgeous photos. Geoff and Alison from Portrait Gallery were absolutely great to work with! Geoff spent tons of time giving us all of the options ahead of time and even showed us all the cameras and lenses he would be using! On the actual day, they were awesome! They showed up early and ready to go! They were courteous and professional, while also being a lot of fun! Geoff stayed on top of things, letting my wife and I know when it was time to take some more shots. And speaking of the shots...they were absolutely beautiful! We worked with Geoff this weekend for an engagement shoot. He recently purchased a couple new lenses and he was super excited to use them! My fiance understood the technical jargon, I just liked the example pictures he had shown us.

Now that it has been a couple months since the wedding day, I am truly grateful for the wonderful images captured by Geoff and Wendy so my wife and I can look back. I would hire Portrait Gallery for any event, and would certainly hire them again for my wedding if I had to choose all over again. Our photographer Jay was wonderful, as was his assistant Megan. They asked if they could arrive earlier on our wedding day than I thought was even possible (they had a long drive to our venue), which was perfect for getting to know them, and getting some fun shots of my bridesmaids and I. They were so professional (and nice!) during the chaos of having 20+ people in my hotel suite, and they were calm and creative while they adapted to pop-up thunderstorms that happened during our planned time for outdoor photos. They were also amazing at coaching us on what to do/how to stand/etc. to make our photos look amazing! The photos were sent back to us very quickly following the wedding, and our friends and family continue to comment on how wonderful the photos were. Thom from Portrait Gallery did an awesome job at our wedding! I was planning a wedding in VT from CA, so being able to talk to both Geoff and Thom over email and phone was a must. They were both helpful and very responsive. My venue was the Old Lantern and they were very familiar with it and able to offer suggestions on where to take photos. My husband and I met with Thom a few days before the wedding to go over things and he completely put us at ease. We felt he had everything under control. Geoff and Jay were great! Geoff always got back to us quickly and were willing to work with our budget. Jay was super friendly and easy to get along with from our first meeting.
