We put our flat on the market with Portico. We chose them for their positive outlook of our sale and their prominent site on the high street.
We have had very good customer relations with all of the staff in the Acton branch. They are very considerate and have made the process go as smoothly as possible. Stuart Balfre dealt with the sale and myself and my partner felt we could rely on him through all the sticking points that arose when selling our property. Communication was good and requests were acted upon quickly.
I would recommend Portico of Acton as a good local agent.

We sold a property with Portico after it was recommended to us by a friend. Within a week of putting it on the market we had two offers, both for the full asking price. We dealt mainly with Stuart through the sale process. He was very professional throughout. He kept us regularly updated with progress reports and was very efficient in dealing with any issues that arose along the way. We had a good experience with Portico renting our flat in Acton - it was a nice flat and the process from beginning to end was very responsive and professional and Iffy was really pleasant.
From our perspective the only thing I felt was not so good was that the fees for tenants were a little steep, about £500 for a 1-bed flat.
We met the Landlady and she was really positive about them as well - and said they had good continuity of staff so she felt really looked after.

We've recently rented a house through Portico in Acton and they were professional, fast and easy to deal with throughout.
They're evidently well organised - doing things like sending the contract electronically, enrolling in tenant deposit scheme immediately etc.
You are paying for quality though, as the tenancy fees for move-in were high - £500 for a 1-bed shared between two! £280 in admin and £220 for referencing.
