Depending on the size of a business/company. Do they have brand guidelines that need to be adhered too? Do they have any sites they really like? We really enjoy getting to know a business first, how it works, who the customer is and target market.

Other questions would be deadlines, functionality and do we need to write the copy for the site.

Firstly, is the site to be built in Wordpress, or custom code PHP? Does the client want to make changes and updates themselves, sell a product and add products? We discuss with the client the best way to build the site before we begin designs.

Generally, after our questions have been answered. We start by designing a web site using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. We design for mobile and make usability the number one priority. We look at colour palettes, fonts and images that may be used.

We design 2-3 home page ideas which we then take forward to the client and discuss. Once a design has been chosen, we will then design the remaining pages, footer etc and once the site designs are signed off we begin development. We give regular updates with links to the site and only go live once the client is happy.

We like to get to know their business first.

Then we need a rough site map. We will build a basic site map before we begin. How many pages etc.

Any photography the client has. Any text they have which our copywriter can look over and add or amend. Sites which inspire our clients too would be beneficial, we will then understand their style.

I enjoy helping young and smaller business grow. I receive great satisfaction seeing small business grow with the branding and digital work we supply them with. I also enjoy working alongside clients closely involving them in every process of the design and build of sites/brochure or other project.

Having worked in the branding and design industry for over twenty two years I wanted to put all my skills into my own agency. I have gained a vast amount of experience over that time working with some huge brands and also with start ups that have gone on to be big players in their industry.

It's a lot of hard work running a small agency but to see our clients doing so well gives us a huge amount of satisfaction.
