Describe your creative process.
I prefer to have direct contact with a client so I can fully understand their brief and ultimately what they need my services to achieve for their business. I can then work out how much time it will take to produce the solution for a client and give a cost. I always recommend that clients see concept and development work at different stages of the project so that they are happy with the direction and changes can be made if required.
I will always put in writing to clients the creative process with the agreed cost and timeline for project completion.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
As much information as possible. For example if its a logo design, What is the business or brand? Do you have any Unique Selling points?
Do you have any colour or font preferences? If you have your own ideas please express them, either in words/sketches/photos/pininterest boards. But not to worry if you just have a name, its my job as a designer to help you get the look and feel you are after. If you are new to branding I can send you a form to fill out with these questions which can often get the ball rolling.
What do you love most about your job?
I love realising someone else is idea or dream and making it a reality.
I can work from scratch for some clients if they have a start up business or I can inject creativity to a promotion and get a company noticed,
giving it stand our from its competitors.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business so I could offer and use my multi-disciplined design skills and not get bogged down in a corporate environment where I had restrictions on my creativity. This has enabled me to work freely and devise my own design process. I work flexibly to suit clients needs and can be available outside the normal 9-5.
