Polly's Adventure Walks

We chose to go with Polly's Adventure Walks because we needed consistency and someone safe for our dog Jake to run with. P.A.W. has been amazing, with check ins after every walk and no last minute changes (which is my personal #1 issue). They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable with them as dog walkers, and now are continuing to bond with Jake so that their walks with him are a positive and healthy experience. We just moved to the Portland area and have an extremely anxious dog who also has a lot of energy. We tried organizing walks through Wag and other one-off walk providers but the constant stream of new faces was making our dog even more anxious to the point that the walkers couldn't get her leash on. I am so thankful I found Polly’s Adventure Walks! Our golden retriever, Willie, goes on three off-leash adventures a week and absolutely loves them. Polly and Drew even send us pictures from the adventure, which is the highlight of my workday! My roommate and I both have dogs that aren't quite social enough to go on the adventure walks, so we take advantage of the individual walks offered by Polly's. The walkers are awesome and send cute pics of our dogs out and about, and they have been super accommodating about us having two dogs that don't exactly get along with each other. We get updates if our dogs are behaving differently in any way as well as updates on the dogs' elimination schedules, and they've even brought packages inside for us! Polly is fabulous! Helped us last minute, when a friend bailed 2 weeks before my sisters wedding. She sent pictures and updates at least every other day even though we had very little access to cell service. It was such comfort to get a brief update and a happy cat photo the few times we made it to town. We came home to a happy cat, not a grump. I would recommend Polly to anyone. We are so happy with and thankful for Polly! We have two older cats with likes and dislikes, one more sensitive and needy than the other. Polly is amazingly thorough - following detailed instructions with care and spends quality time playing with / getting to know our kitties. We felt 100% at ease leaving them in her care after just the first weekend of her visits. She has cared for them twice more for a week at a time and we come home to happy, relaxed cats each time. Polly and Drew and caring, responsible and kind people. My cats Wookie and Myrddin enjoy regular visits each day when we are out of town. I've been working with PAW for my dog, Ty, and we both love Polly! My scheudle can vary a lot and Polly is very communicative and flexible. I love that knowing that she is caring for Ty when I can't, and I trust her accessing my home when I am not here. Polly and Drew have been doing neighborhood walks with our pups for the last few months and they are GREAT! Both of our dogs are leash reactive and one is very shy with new people - our shy pup is totally bonded with both of them already and both dogs are doing great on their walks. I really appreciate that Polly send's a text with photos after each walk with an update of how they did. If you've got a shy or reactive dog, I can't recommend Polly and Drew enough - they'll take their time, help your dog feel at ease, and get them out there for some extra exercise and affection. Polly and her husband are amazing! One day a week I have to leave the house very early and come home late and that left our poor pup without her usual big exercise. Our friend and neighbor recommended Adventure Walks to us to help out on those days and it's incredible! I leave in the morning and lock the door, and when I come much later, my sweet dog is still totally tuckered out from her big day with Polly and the gang. It's like magic!! Polly is trustworthy and her whole operation is very buttoned up. We've tried other services in the past but - wow - this is so much better. Dexter has been a client of Polly for some time now and from the pics I get from Polly, I can tell he enjoys his Friday adventures with her. Polly is extremely flexible too which is nice as I often find myself out of town for a weekend. Rufio is always excited for his Thursday walks with Polly to 1000 acres! He loves being off leash and with a pack and I love that he is exhausted for the rest of the day! My two pups can hardly contain themselves when Polly arrives to pick them up! I truly beleive it is the highlight of their week! Polly is so great with them both, and they love being part of a pack. I had to spend 4 months in Portland for work, and didn’t know how I would keep Comet from going stir crazy in my rental all week long. Polly and Drew went above and beyond to give him walks, exercise, companionship, and of course lots of treats! I loved getting photos of Comet after each walk or off leash adventure, and I’d say they are by far the best photos I have of Comet!

We have been using PAW with our dog, Finley, and are so happy with Polly and Drew! Our work schedules can vary quite a bit and Polly and Drew are always so accommodating when we have to change days of the week from week-to-week. Finley gets so excited when he sees Polly or Drew coming to the front door to pick him up and I know he has an excellent time getting to run around on adventures with his "pack." From day one I have been impressed with Polly and her love for our pooch, Reggie. Equally important is that she remains professional. She responds to messages in a timely manner and when our dog is with her she sends us pics to show us how he is doing. We never hesitate to think about who we might want to watch our four-legged kid.
