We are a professional dog and pet groomers located above a large pet store Called The Animal Ark.
We are fully qualified and insured. We work only 1-1 with your dog, we only have large runs and not small cages. We hand dry all our dogs and refuse to use risky cabinets dryers.

after the messages we got when trying to book appointment for our two small dogs that have been before i was astonished to get a message stating we had to pay a deposit by tomorrow after noon as we had missed apointments allso we would have to pay in full before the dogs were done and if the dogs are as matted as they have been before its £10 extra per dog i wouldent use this person again we paid cash and my 68yr old wife never missed apoinments but did have some called off when the groomer took the day off aviod.

We had a great time having a hands on experience with the animals. Both kids adored everything they saw from gecko's, chinchilla's, opossum and monitor lizard. A great time for the family.

Friendly shop where you can hold the animals (unlike chain stores). Very accommodating and helpful. There was a party on while we were there which seems like a brilliant idea. We went in to look at rats for the kids who quickly turned their attention to one of the Rabbits. It was very tame due to all the handling it had in the shop. He has settled in well at ours and gets on brilliantly with the dogs and cats. The shop is a little run down with age a slightly hectic. that could have been due to the party but I would still recommend a visit. We will be back in the future. More...

I took my bull terrier Lilly here as I heard it had opened and was looking forward to trying it. The lady's were lovely and showed me around the grooming room which was really nice and clean and had large secure pens for the dogs to be keep in whilst waiting. Not only does our pooch look and smell wonderful afterwards but weve found it to be so useful having everything you need all under one roof; pet supplies and even a photo shoot area for when your baby is fresh and clean! What do you love most about your job?
I have loved animals all my life! Trained originally in the Animal Care field, gaining level 3 I Animal Care. Then trained as an Animal Technian and then Vet Nurse. I then obtained my degree and started to teach Science, SEN and Animal Care. In 2016 I bought a large pet store in Maltby and started training in dog grooming. I opened groomers the following year, taking on a groomer with 18 years experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The idea of combining my love of animals with work!
Why should our clients choose you?
We are focused on customer satisfaction and the dogs always come first. We are planning to put in cameras so owner can see their pets getting groomed. We also have an open door, so you are welcome in at anytime. Our price are competitive to the area. Being located above a pet store it is also convenient for shopping. We also have a permanent onsite pet Photography studio, with walk away photos from only £6!
