I held my gathering here on January 13, 2018.... from start to finish it was wonderful!! The event staff made sure we had everything we needed down to the ICE! !.
The building/setup was SUPERB......100% first class.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that anyone who is looking for an event center to give PP a try......I look forward to using this place again in the near future. More...

This venue is definitely a rare gem! Both spaces they offer are beautiful and unique, while appealing to large, extravagant events or smaller, intimate ones. The owner, Guiermo, and Event Coordinator, Edna, were both very accommodating and brought wonderful ideas to the table, during the booking process. They were amazing to work with, offering assistance at anytime during our event and easily accessible as they were present up until the very end!
Both conducted themselves with a friendly professionalism that did NOT go unnoticed.

The venue itself was very affordable and an unlimited list of additional services/packages were offered but NOT forced. Our event coordinators were allowed to arrive very early day of, at no additional cost, and customize the space in any way to fit our needs (within reason)! Outside vendors, food and entertainment were welcomed, and the venue was even able to supply a small wait staff to help maintain food & beverage service.

Our event was a small, surprise party for my grandma on her 70th birthday and not only was the booking accepted in a last-minute venue swap, but we were treated with the same importance as any large, higher spending event. This was a very special moment in our family history and Poetry Place helped enhance the experience to create a successful memory that will last in family pictures, stories, conversation and our hearts, forever. Poetry Place was the first place I visited for our wedding venue and the last. After meeting Penny and her family that is all involved was it for me. This is a family operated business and the family is wonderful. They made it so simple from the beginning to the end of our event. I cannot say enough about this place as we had our ceremony and reception all in the big room. The food was excellent and everyone at our wedding was very impressed by all. Kendall Crosson is such a sweet lady and a very good photographer. I would highly recommend Poetry Place as I am confident you will have a beautiful and problem free event. More...
