I'm an 85 year old women with some medical issues, including high blood pressure and hip pain. I hired Peter as I saw that he is a personal trainer in Suffolk who would visit my home and he offered chair based exercise programmes for people like myself. Peter began weekly exercise sessions with me which included aerobic movements, mobility, stretching exercises for flexibility and strengthening with a resistance band. After a few weeks of regular exercise, I feel much more energetic, more confident and independent. I can get out of a chair and the bath much easier without assistance and fear of falling and I find every day tasks much less demanding. I hired Peter to be my personal trainer in Bury St Edmunds and he came to meet me at my home. I described my health goals, which were to get fit and lose weight. Peter took me through a fitness assessment where he measured my weight and body fat and took my body measurements.We then began training twice a week with Boxercise and Kettlebells and other equipment and Peter helped me manage making better choices with diet. After 6 months of training, I have lost 3 stone and 5 inches off my waist. I feel fitter, have more energy and yet I don’t feel hungry in between sessions. The personal training sessions were well designed for my fitness levels, progressed appropriately and crucially, were great fun, something I never expected! Peter is a very experienced and personable personal trainer. He has allot of empathy and always makes you feel like your goals are important. I have a life threatening lung disease, after working as a Baker and inhaling flour for many years and I need to have a lung transplant.
Papworth Hospital will not operate on me until I reach 16 stone 4, due to possible complications.
I started personal training with Peter just over a year ago when I weighed 22 stone 5. Peter began a twice a week home exercise program with me and has advised me on weight control via changes to my diet.
I have lost 4 1/2 stone and now weigh 17 stone 12 1/2 and I really feel that I will be down to my target weight within the next 4 months and then I can be put on the waiting list to receive my lung transplant.
Without Peter's valuable help and patience, I really don't think I would be here today. Trying to stay fit with this lung disease is really hard but he keeps me on track. Giving up would be the easy option to take. Peter makes sure I stay motivated.
Home personal training makes sense as I would never stick with a gym routine.
I highly recommend PMA Personal Training and Peter Azzopardi is your man.

Peter is always on hand to make sure that you are exercising correctly which I found very refreshing as not all exercise instructors do this. He also carries out a very thorough health questionnaire before he takes on a new client He has even been known to advise some prospective clients to consult with their GP before their 1st session. The clients have taken this advice, and then thanked him for this as their GP has diagnosed high BP which the client was unaware off, and received treatment for. Great service because Peter the Personal Trainer visits your home, has such a wide range of services such as Boxercise pad work, Yoga, Kettlebells and ViPR. I find that with regular training sessions and advice on diet, I am seeing real changes to my body, more toned muscles, flatter tummy and more curves.
