Jamie is an amazing trainer. She probably trained the people more than the dogs! I've learned so much from our classes. I wish we lived closer to keep coming back regularly! I highly recommend any of the classes Jaime offers. More...

Jamie Robinson is a great trainer. I started training my own dogs for obedience competitions in 1976. I've been around enough trainers and dog training clubs to know what I'm talking about. I have a traumatic brain injury and have brittle bones. I started losing my hearing because of that in 1999. A day came when my Dr suggested a service dog to help me. Training a service dog for serious tasks for someone isn't the same as just training for obedience work. Jamie excels at it. And she excels in teaching the humans! You can find dog trainers all over. Training a dog often isn't that hard...but training the human is often very hard. They don't listen and they aren't consistent. They think taking the dog to a trainer means they don't have to do anything. The trainer doesn't Live with the dog. The owner does. There's such a thing as self responsibility.I'm embarrassed to say I'm no different when it comes to paying attention. But I'm a lot better than when I started with Jamie! Being able to watch other people ignore instructions during training groups has taught me a lot. Jamie is beyond patient and doesn't make people feel dumb when we don't listen. I've seen her repeat and explain things in the same patient voice literally hundreds of times with some people. The dogs respond to her in an almost supernatural way. Some people get defensive when they see their dog respond to her like that. When a person drops that ego stance and follows the suggestions...and do their homework...they learn and they develop a bond with their dog. And they see their dog respond to them in the same way. You have to do some work to get anything in life!Jamie is a world renowned trainer with decades of experience and well respected by her peers. Trading techniques with your peers is healthy - and secure people aren't afraid of doing it. It enriches everyone and the community in general when we work together instead of seeing everyone as the competition. More...
