I have been working for Platinum Recruitment on and off over the last couple of years, and have seen them grow and evolve as an agency. In general I enjoy working for the agency, I receive shifts regularly (although you do need to call regularly to ask for shifts) and enjoy working at most of their locations. If there is a location I do not particularly enjoy I do not need to go back. Working with the flexibility of the agency has been perfect alongside my studies. Staff are always friendly, very helpful and they are always contactable - especially Andy, Rob and Tom Leech. There is a minimum shift time of 4 hours, which is great for an agency as it ensures clients cannot send you home without paying you at least 4 hours. More...

Having been approached by Platinum late last year as I was looking for a new move, Lewis was superb from start to finish, he had a great location lined up and worked well with the GM and DGM. In the 3 months since I moved I've already gained a promotion showing that Lewis put me into an establishment always looking to use those from within and develop those they have. Absolutely amazing experience. I spoke to Francesca who completely saved my bacon. I had difficulty finding staff (waiters and bar) for my wedding in Weymouth. Friends of mine were catering and because they weren't an official catering company other recruitment centres in Weymouth and Dorchester said they wouldn't have the right insurance to help me. So after calling about 4 different places, a friend of mine who's a caterer recommended Platinum and they were brilliant.

I was abroad at the time and it was literally about 2 weeks before the wedding and Francesca sorted everything out even though it was last minute. My friends who catered our wedding mentioned how brilliant the staff were. They were all really professional, friendly and went the extra mile. I expected a lot of clearing up, but the barman and waiters when they weren't busy had been sorting stuff and putting glasses through the washing machine etc and made it so much easier to clear up the next day.

Also we had a signature cocktail at the wedding which the barman were happy to do and the waiters were brilliant needing little direction.

All the staff were fantastic and Francesca organised everything and it all went like a dream. I wouldn't hesitate to use platinum again for any future functions! Xxx More...
