I hired Tom and his Disco for my wedding on Saturday 20th July. What an absolute gem. He communicated with us from booking, all the way up until the wedding. I was a bit of an annoying customer where I’d leave things very last minute, but Tom was so patient and understanding. I gave him my first dance and list of song choices only two days before the wedding yet he was still so chilled and amazing. Tom turned up on my wedding day and surprised us with his Mr & Mrs game which I had no idea we were playing, it was so exciting and had everyone in tears of laughter. Tom was a very good entertainer, chatty and is soooo good with a camera too. We had over 200 action pictures from throughout the whole night given to us by Tom, which was all included in the package . Unbelievably helpful from the moment of enquiry, all the way through to the day and even still after the day with checking up and ensuring I was happy with the services and photos taken. We were consistently put at ease and filled with assistance leading up to the day. He also visited and set up the day before and explained how it was all going to work and that if anything wanted to be changed last minute or on the day he would be right onto it. He also took great control as the Toast Master. The day was just unreal and having Tom there made it even more magical.As mentioned, all expectations were exceeded and would definitely recommend. We hired these guys for our post-wedding reception for the DJ and the photo booth. They were absolutely fantastic! They went above and beyond to ensure our night went smoothly - even helping us with a few panics during our venue set up! We were very impressed with the music and the playlist he came up with (we only gave him a very vague description of what we wanted and he nailed it!). Our guests even complimented!! We booked Tom for a children’s joint birthday party and he was fantastic! He arrived an hour early to set up and even battled through the heavy snow to get there! I would highly recommend Platinum Music & Events Ltd. We have booked them on 2 occasions now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The music was excellent and exactly what we wanted. As it was a children's birthday party we had the bubble machine, which everyone really enjoyed as well as glitter tattoos and face painting. Everyone loved the face painting and the results were amazing. I was also very thankful for the photos that were taken as I was kept busy behind the scenes and they captured the party beautifully. Thoroughly enjoyed my party, had good music that was good to dance too...the kids were uncooperative with having games but managed a pass the parcel that was fun. The kids loved having a face painter there....the Peppa pig visit was really fun....it always funny to see how the kids will react and there were very mixed emotions. All in all pretty damm good. We used Platinum Music & Events on 17 June for a 21st birthday party in Hampshire. They were brilliant from the first introduction to after the party. Tom was professional, he turned up on time, set up without interrupting the party, took music requests and played exactly the right music to get the dancing started, had great lighting, continued to supply brilliant music all night. It was for a 21st party in our garden - and not only did he single-handedly keep the music flowing, but he also emailed us lots of amazing photographs after the party which he had somehow managed to take too!

We booked Tom for our daughter's 21st party. We provided a short playlist which Tom then expanded and provided a great selection of music. I first experienced platinum music and events at my friends wedding. Myself and my husband was so impressed with his set up of the White DJ booth perfect for anybody's wedding.
The cherry on top was the up lighting and giant love letters we decided to pay the extra and go for it which was so worth it gave the venue a perfect ambiance and made the photographs look beautiful.
Tom asked if he could use for the first time his dancing on the clouds dried ice machine which I am so glad I said yes it made our first dance so magical and perfect I have never seen anything like this before our photographer captured such beautiful photos which the dancing on the clouds she added so much more atmosphere I would recommend everybody should have it.
Tom was absolutely amazing every step of the way he is very quick at getting back to me asking me extra questions to make sure it was all perfect. You came on the day with plenty of time to set up I didn't have to chase him at any time he was fully prepared for everything he sets the whole room up perfectly making it look beautiful I'm making the dancefloor very spacious. He played all the music I had listed prior to the wedding and took many more requests on the evening even Final song of the night my husband asked for Eminem which Tom obliged saying I've never played this for a final song before.
Tom is such a friendly person helping with me every step along the way I would recommend him to anybody for parties weddings et cetera and definitely will be using him again myself in the future.

Tom DJ’d at my sister’s surprise 40th party and provided up-lighting and the illuminated dj box. He was very professional and communication before and after the party was great. He arrived early to set up and helped us set up our projector which we were struggling with. Tom had, and played, all of the songs requested on the night. What can I say. We had Platinum Music & Events as our DJ for our evening and also had their 5ft LOVE letters and some evening photography. It was absolutely amazing! Worth every single penny to capture those photos on the dance floor that we would never have got. Tom was brilliant on the night too ... the music kept everyone on the dance floor all night! Tom at Platinum music and events put on a fab uv neon disco for my daughters joint birthday party. He painted everyone’s faces and played lots of party games with prizes included, and also supplied all the kiddies with loads of glow sticks.
