How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
If it is of a sound brick/block construction then it is possibly good for conversion but would need an inspection from your builder.

Insulation is the first stage running alongside any Electrical work & plumbing (After any construction work such as windows & doors, roof)
Any stud walls then to be erected, Plastered and then painted ready for use.
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
By checking the head hight and floor space, you will need space to raise the floor whilst maintaining a minimum height of 2 meters (6ft6")
You may need a Dorma to achieve this hight coming off the stairwell
