From our very first meeting, it was clear that Plant Place totally "got" what I was trying to describe as the overall look for my wedding flowers (as someone who wanted "wildflowers" in jewel tones - but, frankly, had no idea what flowers actually constituted wildflowers, this was no small feat! ) Admittedly, too, I'd first met with another florist at the recommendation of my venue and others - and their ideas were so far off from my concept that I was worried I wouldn't find someone to execute my vision. It was SUCH a relief meeting with Plant Place following - and, on top of sharing my vision, they were also far more reasonable than the "competition". I'd worked most closely with Johna throughout, and made a series of revisions to my order over the course of planning (including adding a chuppah) - but Johna was patient and understanding all along, and was willing to review a Pinterest board I'd compiled with ideas (I needed the visuals for myself, since I didn't actually know which flowers to ask for!) In the end, EVERYTHING about my flowers was absolutely PERFECT! Truly - they were a work of art. I got SO many compliments on them the day of - and the compliments are still coming in (a few of which included people saying they were the most gorgeous flowers they'd ever seen!) Shannon at Buffalo Wedding Florist (Plant & Flower Basket) is absolutely AMAZING! She was an absolute pleasure to work with as my husband and I navigated through the wedding planning process. He didn't have too much input into the final flowers but he did appreciate how easy it was to narrow down some ideas for our floral palette and also appreciated the fact that we were able to stay within our allotted budget for our wedding flowers.

Shannon was very enthusiastic and obviously enjoys her work and takes a lot pride and joy in what she does and it is also obvious she loves what she does and is passionate about it. When we first met with her, neither one of us had too many ideas in regards to what we were looking for...just a budget in mind. She was very helpful with giving us some ideas for our flowers and also going with the flow when we were indecisive (well I was indecisive...lol). Whenever I had a question or a concern, Shannon was very quick to respond and was flexible with all the changes we had to make throughout the process. She is AWESOME! :)

When I saw the flowers for my bouquet and my girls' bouquets on the day of the wedding, I was amazed at how BEAUTIFUL and GORGEOUS they were. There is some absolutely AMAZING floral talent working for them and it literally took my breath away. Especially my bouquet, it was absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for doing such an fantastic job with our wedding. We received a lot of compliments from our guests about how beautiful our flowers were and how well it went with our color scheme (navy blue, peach, pink, and ivory). We can't thank all of you enough for doing a such a FABULOUS job! :)

Amazing! My flowers were breathtaking. We worked with Johnathan, and he was awesome. He was indeed busy, so email was a very good way to keep in touch. We did wait a couple of times for him to get back to us, (between making adjustments to the proposal), but it was worth it. Johnathan and his staff made our day go off with-out a hitch. Everything was in place, and I tell you the truth when I say people were talking about the flowers from our wedding for weeks after...My sweetheart table was to die for, with every one of my favorite flowers...We also used services provided for our linens, which I highly recommend doing. Overall, I could not have been happier...It was truly a fairytale brought to life, and worth every single penny... Awesome! More...

We worked with Jonathan at the Plant Place for our wedding flowers and they were absolutely stunning. He wasn't always easy to get a hold of, not always prompt with responding to calls/emails those times he responded, and had frequent scheduling conflicts that caused him to cancel or change meeting times. He does have an outstanding creative/artistic vision, but he didn't seem to be immediately receptive to my calling him after I discovered the bouquet wasn't exactly as we had discussed and he hadn't called me to inform me of this prior to sending it. He did ultimately accommodate my request, albeit maybe a little reluctantly, to make some minor adjustments to other flowers to compensate for the unexpected difference in the bouquet. John and Lori were so much help, I don't know anything about flowers and they took there time to explain things and show me a variety of flowers that would fit well with the look I was going for. I loved working with Jonathan, for my daughter's wedding.We had already decided on another florist when our wedding planner (Exquisite Design's) suggested we speak to Jonathan, after meeting with him we fired the other florist and went with The Plant Place. We got so much more for the same price and he went over board with his creativity. I decided on Plant Place from a recommendation from a friend who used them for some linens at her wedding a few years ago. I knew what colors I wanted to focus on for the boquets and centerpieces but wasnt familiar enough with the exact type of flowers I was looking for. And Jonathan took care of all of that for me. I also decided to use him for stain tableclothes and napkins. I kind of left everything in his hands, and when I walked into the reception room it was absolutely beautiful. It's been 7 months since the wedding, and people are still talking about how beautiful all of the flowers were. They were great in helping me decide what flowers I wanted. The bouquets were beautiful. However, the centerpieces did not fit in the bases provided by reception hall and had to be altered to be used. I would have appreciated it if the florist had contacted the venue to make sure that the centerpieces would fit so that I could have had the centerpieces that I wanted. More...
